@Autism @BBCTwo One of the best programmes I’ve seen for ages. Really showcased the breadth of the autistic spectrum, showcased individuals fantastically and gave great insights. Well done @ChrisGPackham and @BBC2 top marks!

Hope you’ll forgive the personal post. I am delighted to share that over Christmas I married my husband Ian at St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow.
It was a wonderful day as we mixed our Scottish and Northern Irish traditions, families and friends, sprinkled with lots of magic.

As many of you will have heard, I will be leaving National Grid, moving on to the constellation of smaller (than Grid) companies helping create a zero carbon world. It’s a long-held ambition but obviously mixed emotions leaving a fantastic organisation and a big part of my life!

Yesterday we visited @SSE Peterhead Power Station. It has had a big role in power generation in 🏴 + now plans to be at the heart of major new carbon capture + storage infrastructure to help achieve #NetZero We heard from apprentices passionate about working on low carbon tech🔋

The Loch Katrine Aquaduct is a civil engineering marvel. A salient example of links between infrastructure & public health + a great example of infra longevity & the need for long term thinking on projects today. Our volunteers have an event on the refurb next week - do join us!
