Strive taking out WA is, from what I understand, a very good move, but I doubt it's replicable in other FGs unfortunately. A mechanic that was added late into a game's lifespan and relatively homogenous and self-contained from other system mechanics is easy to disconnect.

They won't touch more than 1-2 characters for 6+ months istg.

@HomeDepotemkin If you didn’t know, you can buffer tag in with the backdash throw OS, so you can move the tag sequence forward in the knockdown timing so that you can do the full OS - throw roll through, avoid wake-up attack, and still get raw tag if they do anything but roll through you.

Being +42 or better on a knockdown guarantees you that you will be able to safely raw tag on your oki. Being +48 (for 6f 5L characters) or +49 (for 7f 5L characters) will let you meaty after the raw tag if the opponent does neutral get up. #2XKO

deadlocks movement is really cool, but IAD'ing, 1 stam dash jumping & instant zip speed (doesnt matter if u get shot) as well as configs for better vision & mods to see enemy unsecured AND unspent souls what is determined as "tech" VS cheating/unfair advantages? this is an alpha game so im not stressed but these things will NEED to be dealt with eventually.

Doom can dash before doing assist + hidden missiles, meaning this works basically anywhere (and from any range Ghost Rider 2M). If your first touch breaks wall, then you are guaranteed the resources (and character) to do this on your next touch!

@KingJobber @Sajam Now that there are characters with more unique air assists than just more beans in more cool with it. Ghost rider air assist is legit dope, often causes sandwiches.

@Sajam I think air assist just needs to go, I don't see any real use for it over just letting us call neutral assist in the air.

I’m not that worried about Tokon yet, because I assume impressions will change a lot with training mode + new characters + whatever system changes they make. Right now my gripes are more with system stuff than anything else but it’s hard to know without being able to test.

I'm pretty sure you could do another special move here with ghost rider before tagging to Doom, but you'd likely give up the spot for a neutral assist.
