Most games give you achievements for doing extremely simple things.
They're not difficult challenges, they're arbitrary bullshit the devs added to stretch playtime without having to give actual rewards.

I know it’s just games but achievements that represent objective feats feel more rewarding than participation trophies. If achievements don’t matter then why is it important to hand them out? Why not just say “good job!” on-screen or install a “win all trophies” button instead?

@DragonifyDev @GotYerGt1 My main point is that it's ok that some people prefer games designed to try and maintain the integrity of the achievement, whether or not they're successful at it and flex into the void. It's a valid approach that a portion of players want.

@GeorgeCrudo Absolutely not. Star Fox is an arcade on-rails shooter game. Why are people trying to make it more than that? Do the racers need to get out of the kart in Mario Kart? Do we need the fighters in Smash to be part of an open world or something? Star Fox is fine without the bloat.

Cut vets like Mewtwo, Ice Climbers, Wolf, Snake and Lucas were topping polls and discussions even more than the most requested newcomers like Banjo, K Rool + Rayman for Wii U

As bad as constantly remaking 64 is, I don't like that so many peoples suggestion is just "64 again, but with different levels and a new story" or "Just do Assault again"

@BringBackBanjoK The roster being smaller was not peoples biggest complaint with it.
The problem was who was cut to make it smaller and who they picked for the few newcommers they added.
No one will be mad if they cut Wii Fit Trainer, 2 Link clones, and 2 FE characters that were glorified ads.
