@EricIdle - the son of a friend is going to break the world record for the longest run up to bowl in a cricket match, for charity. 16 miles, in cricket whites, ball in hand, run up to then bowl. The 1st thing I thought was that it would have made an awesome Monty Python sketch 😁

@MichaelRosenYes This movie is (gulp) 33 years old. There are those who are fine with Olivier’s Othello but who go apoplectic at the idea of a black person playing a white character. They just haven’t moved with the times.❤️

Can I ask those people who object to so-called 'mixed casting' in Shakespeare and period dramas, do you object to white people playing Cleopatra, Othello, Prince of Morocco or non-Jews playing Shylock? English people playing Macbeth, Owen Glendower, Katherine of Valois?

@MichaelRosenYes I'd love to see @omid9 as King Lear, or Rahul Kohli or @GuzKhanOfficial as Coriolanus. Denzel Washington was brilliant as Don Pedro in Much Ado, but can you imagine late-1980's/early 1990's Eddy Murphy as Benedick? That would have been awesome! Michelle Yeoh as Titania?

@TrynaBeBetter08 Nobody is saying the middle ages were nice, we're saying they weren't as bad as people have been saying they were.

I wish this "The Middle Ages were actually nice. It's just misrepresented in media." thing would end. Just cause the clothes were actually colorful didn't mean it wasn't horrible and brutal.
