@TaupeAvenger Not if you read Scripture it’s not haha. A person must obey His call to repent. This is the nature of many promises, they are conditional.

What’s up with Calvinists refusing to believe that God genuinely desires the salvation of all people? It’s just weird

The Cadets from Old Dominion University who stopped an active shooter, received 8 Meritorious Service Medals. Two of them received Purple Hearts…from the Sergeant Major of the Army and the Secretary of the Army. Absolutely amazing and well deserved.

"How can you say you believe that killing the unborn is a form of murder but then say there is no circumstance whatsoever in which any woman could ever be charged with that crime? Christians, at the very least, should think with moral consistency here." Learn more below.

@KyleCox13117642 @TomHicks2LCF @pastorclint It was an issue at the convention that drastically affected the convention. Mike Stone claims to have been publicly maligned. He is asking for the tape to be released. Perhaps whoever is hiding the tape can be handled by their local church, but this was a public accusation.

It’s time @pastorclint. Will you keep your word?
Tom Ascol @tomascol@tomascol

2 years ago SBC President @pastorclint promised he would "absolutely" call for the release of the video showing the ambush of @PastorMikeStone by a woman at the 2021 SBC. I have reminded & encouraged him to keep his word many times. So far he has not. Clint has been a definite upgrade from SBC presidents of the last 10 years & I believe him to be a man of his word. I have real appreciation for him personally & for much of what he has done in his role leading the SBC. I have urged him, prayed, & continue to hope that he will do what is right in this matter. The SBC already has enough examples of failed leadership in the SBC. We need more humble, bold, God-fearing leaders who are willing to honor God regardless of cost or consequences. What happened to Mike Stone was wicked. Many weak men helped weaponize the false accusations against him that resulted in his barely not being elected as SBC President. Instead, we got a dishonest plagiarist, @EdLitton. The surveillance video exists. A member of the EXCom told Mike they owe him an apology & its President, @Jeff_Iorg has confirmed to Mike personally that the video exists, but refuses to release it. It is past time for this travesty of justice, perpetrated by failed leaders who fear men more than they fear God, to be acknowledged & repented of. I hope that everyone who is tired of SBC leadership refusing to do what is right will demand that this video be released.

@KyleCox13117642 @TomHicks2LCF @pastorclint We should bring the truth of a pastor being accused of gross misconduct to the light. Release the video and people will know if we were lied to or not. This in no way precludes the preaching of the gospel.

@TomHicks2LCF @pastorclint I wonder if Jesus is on his throne saying “Good for you guys. Let’s get immersed in partisan religious politics & denominational arguments while the world literally goes to hell.” Maybe our time is better spent evangelizing & discipling.

*taps the sign* Stop using “gospel” as an adjective. The gospel is the good news of God’s work in Christ, not a modifier of our work as Christians.

Mike Winger is just trying to get clicks views and monetization right now. He is peddling more lies about Gods men then I have ever seen. His videos on ppl like Bill Johnson, Todd White are just innuendo and outright lies. Its disgusting. Ive had to defend several men from his lies. One of my pastors has Tood White booked and wanted to know if he should cancel him because of the accusations Winger is pushing. I actually think a few of his targets should get together and sue him for defamation, maybe then he will stop.

Mercy Culture is part of Cover-up Culture. At least among some of its top leaders. The only time I have been able to talk to Mercy Culture leaders was on a phone call where they did not immediately disclose to me that they were recording the call. But I knew they were in a single party recording state so I asked them if they were recording. They admitted it, so I told them I would record it as well. They showed zero concern for the victims they had harmed in their public statements and seemed to see themselves as victims of me. This is because I was guilty of making a video exposing what they did in public. They asked why I didn’t contact them before making my video. I told them I did contact them and that they ignored me. They acknowledged this and said they now regretted ignoring me. But I think the regret was due to exposure, not any kind of agreement or change of mind. They also were quite bothered that I had made a follow up video telling everyone that Mercy Culture wrongly filed a copyright claim against my video (which is true) and revealed that they saw this as me shooting first. I pointed out that when they copyright claimed something in violation of US law and YouTube policy it was them shooting first. They accepted zero responsibility for this and suggested it was a process that happened automatically, where they claim everything possible and don’t consider if it’s a valid claim first. I told them I believed this was illegal and immoral and they should stop. When it came to them constantly acting like they were the victims when they in fact had deceived people and attacked victims I had a rare moment. I yelled at them. I don’t really yell as a habit. I did it intentionally in this case because I reasoned that maybe, just maybe, me raising my voice and speaking in very strong ways could break the deception they were under. It didn’t. I ended the call pleading with them to look into the Michael Brown situation and see the ton of evidence to show they had deceived people and harmed witnesses and one victim in particular. After this call they said they don’t want to talk to me any more. They can dispute this account if they want. They have the recording. So do I.

The reason so many people are not impressed or moved by the comments of Bethel's Bill Johnson and Kris Vallaton is because it's not just fake prophecy and sexual abuse that need to be dealt with. It's the whole movement. The culture. The theology. I just met with several ladies who escaped a NAR church. They are gutted. Their lives are wrecked and they are hanging on to faith by a thread. Some have PTSD. And none of them were given fake prophecies or endured SA. I believe the vast majority of people abused by NAR churches (of which Bethel is the flagship) are in the same boat. To watch these leaders "repent" for a narrow sliver of what was exposed feels like a gut punch. Even if Bethel repents in dust and ashes for covering for fake prophets and sexual abuse...even if Johnson and Vallaton step down and the younger leaders take over...they will still be teaching the same theology. I am praying for Bethel to do the right thing. Their leaders are disqualified. Their ministry school teaches superstition and pagan practices. My sincere prayer is that all the true Christians in this movement (I have no doubt there is a great many) will leave and find biblically sound churches and begin to heal. Lord, please purify your church. Luke 12:2 "There is nothing hidden that won't be revealed."

Did anyone really think a decade of big name evangelicals pushing leftist ideologies wouldn’t have residual effects? Just 6 years ago Reformed evangelicals marched in BLM protests, published books on voting Democrat was a good moral option, and sided with George Floyd narrative.
