Think the overarching takeaway of this season is that if #AVFC have John McGinn, they will more or less be fine. 58% win rate when he plays, 25% win rate when he does not. 6 goal involvements in the last seven home games. No surprise his return from injury has steadied the ship.

@RLobes5u @J_Tanswell @TheAthleticFC Agree with this. The section I sit, it's obvious the slow methodical passing at the back, is a cause of frustration. Whilst, we all get what we're trying to do with the tactic. It's not helpful for creating buzz and energy. UTV

When #AVFC are this predictable in possession, you do tend to rely on set-plays, hopeful crosses or a long-range effort to score. Do think an equaliser would improve overall play immeasurably and add some zip, but how they do that has been quite difficult in recent weeks
