A bit of a wiseacre with a slightly skewed take on things. If it has wings, wheels, or an engine, I like it. MySpace influencer. Retweet does not = endorsement

Father of 22-year-old Logan Federico screaming at Democrats in Congress after his daughter was dragged from bed, forced on her knees, and executed... ...by a man arrested 39 TIMES with 25 FELONIES... May be the most powerful and heartbreaking video I've ever watched. Everyone who let this demon walk freely, should be in prison.

Ferrari has executed this exposure campaign with remarkable skill. What originated as a limited discussion among a small circle of enthusiasts yesterday has, within 24 hours, captured widespread attention across the public consciousness. Through precise orchestration, the brand has engineered a significant cultural resurgence—elevating quiet interest into broad fascination and effectively revitalizing its iconic status. A masterclass in brand revival. A classic bad press is good press.

@antoguerrera @awstar11 Half the appeal of a Ferrari is listening to the engine. You can’t do that with an electric Ferrari.

It’s imperative that we revert to STANDARD, not Daylight time, for two reasons, one of which you may have never considered. You know the first: solar noon is closest to 12 o’clock all year. That means an equal number of hours before and after noon each day. This also means earlier sunrises which are significantly better for establishing a healthy circadian rhythm. The second reason is that nearly ONE THIRD of US counties are in the wrong timezone. A significant swath of the country isn’t only an artificial hour ahead because of daylight time… but TWO HOURS ahead of true solar time. Year-round daylight time, especially without recalibrating time zones, would establish this error permanently, affecting millions of Americans. We should be letting the Sun dictate the day the way God made it. Arbitrary, artificial tampering would be worse for us all. Fix the time zones and affix standard time.

@Super70sSports @DOBrienATL FWIW, I’m having a hard time with the fact that Horner was only 8 years older than I am. The other thing I recall about Horner was that he was on the DL a lot, usually due to his wrists, if I’m remembering correctly. And that he skipped the minor leagues and went straight to MLB

Super Sky Point to Bob Horner. He was the NL Rookie of the Year and an All-Star but if you were around back then you know he was more than that. Much more. He was a fixture in the homes of millions of us through the miracle of cable television during those epic childhood summers that seemed like they’d never end. I was a fan for over 40 years but had never met Bob until I interviewed him last December about Dale Murphy’s Hall of Fame case. As you’d expect, Bob was a fierce advocate for his fellow Fulton County basher. How could he not be? They were Murph and Horner. Horner and Murph. The Hall and Oates of the Launching Pad. You know, these sky points all suck to write but this one hurts more than most. The four-homer game, the bad perm, Chief Noc-A-Homa waiting by his teepee for another Horner long ball. I have tweeted a lot about Bob Horner through the years and it’s because he represents to me, and I suspect many of you too, something far bigger than baseball: WTBS coming out of the magic box on top of my 400-pound Zenith, cool air coming through my bedroom window after another afternoon of Wiffle Ball, and Rick Mahler (probably) toeing the rubber at about 7:05 while hoping to keep the Braves in it with smoke and mirrors long enough for Horner and Murph to do some damage. And me sprawled out on green and yellow shag carpet in Kentucky paying 100 times more attention to Skip Caray, Ernie Johnson, and Pete Van Wieren than any of my teachers. Farewell, you sweet slugging bastard. Tell St. Peter you brought your glove for the hot corner and to write you into the cleanup spot. #RIP

@BuzzPatterson Hats off to you for being able to stay professional around them, especially her. I’ve never heard anyone say any different about them, and especially her aloofness and disdain for, well, everyone else. It was so evident when she ran for president, but she thought otherwise

Tonight’s “Buzz’s Bedtime Story” is a nightmare. It’s the tale of an ancient, smelly witch, with a blood curdling cackle, who invades a castle and takes over. I’m going to recount the first time I ever met Hillary Clinton. It was on Marine One, helicoptering to Camp David for a weekend, with the First Family. I was brand new to the Military Aide position and this was my first trip to Camp David. It was a Saturday morning and I was a little trepidatious, to say the least. Of course, I’d heard all about Hillary from my predecessor. In my few weeks of “in briefings” before I assume this volatile position, her name came up frequently. He’d warned me about her temperament and her propensity to go off on any and all staffers, including her husband. In fact, during my “in briefings” he told me that I could upset Bill Clinton, and he’d brush it off. But if I were to piss Hillary off, she’d rip my heart out. Now, I’m a fairly intelligent guy so I registered it. Don’t piss her off.🤣 On this particular morning, and every other time on a presidential trip, I’d always boarded Marine One last, letting the First Family board first along with the doctor and Secret Service agents. I always used the rear steps, with “the football.” My seat on the helicopter was always immediately adjacent to the president and “First Lady.” On this particular day, Chelsea was also coming. I sat in my assigned seat, set the “football” down and approached Hillary. “Hi ma’am, I’m Major Buzz Patterson. I’m the new Air Force Aide. Wonderful to meet you.” I also introduced myself to Chelsea and sat back down. Hillary was curt and quiet. She nodded without saying a word. Chelsea was rude and looked at me like I had 3 heads. The disdain for the military among these two was palpable. My predecessor was right, “Well, that was awkward,” I thought to myself. It never got “not awkward.” 🤣🤣🤣
