@uncledoomer If your happiness is dependent on someone buying you flowers and taking you to dinner every week, then you have some problems and need to go to therapy

@sasuke___420 The find function shouldn't be searching on rendered output. It should be searching the source doc... Nic is saying dont render the whole doc if you can't see it. Only render what is necessary for view. Once find hits a match then you jump and tender the match and it's surround
English

you should never let the browser's find feature actually work
Nic Barker@nicbarkeragain
Just a heads up that you should never be rendering 10,000 lines of anything, especially if all the lines are the same height, as in code. List virtualisation is a very old and simple technique. You can experiment with the below at nicbarker.com/virtual-scroll…

@ShamashAran My wife has worked in several doctors offices. She knows what goes on and what happens to make doctors late.... She has 0 tolerance for it. 5 minutes behind and she is walking back to find the doc herself.
English

@Bloke_Baz Talking to a professional psychologist. They said "most people probably have or had ADHD in their life"... So you are telling me it's normal?
No. Everyone needs medication.
Wtf??

@i2cjak Next needs to be a real audio ADC with 28V phantom power for a studio mic

day 3 of designing more and more complicated Framework EXPANSION CARDS until they give me a free laptop
THIS IS A MEDICAL DEVICE (not really) an SPO2 + ECG sensor. Well you need two of them, one on each side of the laptop. Touch the little metal thing! Get beamed with LEDs!!!

i2cjak@i2cjak
day 2 of designing more and more complicated Framework EXPANSION CARDS until they give me a free laptop Yeah yeah yeah YOU DUMBIES wanted 2 USB-C ports in one, but YOU DULLARDS weren't thinking big enough. FOUR USB-C PORTS. ONE CARD.

@AgingAnarchist Why does that karrn keep looking at the driver like he is supposed to do something against a crowd like that? You think those people are going to listen? You think he has any power here?
English

@RadicalKjax I don't grant one until you actually fix something like that. You need to be familiar with all valid techniques
English

@BrightInsight6 Radar SAR still images contain lots of information, including motion information.
Just like a 2 D picture which can have a 3rd dimension (color). The sar data has 2D locations with a 3rd dimension of motion.
Just like edge detection on an image, you can do Doppler on sar
English

@BrightInsight6 Its not a 2D image. Its a bunch of 2D image slices of the ground. Its not an image parallel to the ground surface. Its perpendicular down into the surface. Like a CT scan that cuts slices of the human body.
Also. A "still image" is true but misleading in your context....
English

@EdgeKitune You and I have different definitions of "dangerous"

@tuuu28283 Bucees is not like Costco
Bucees is a gas station. A big one with lots of food and groceries. And amazing bathrooms.
Costco is a massive store with pallets of stuff and shitty bathrooms.
English

@TravisR14702855 @BrightInsight6 @CosmicTusk @Filippobiondi_1 He has released other scans to show the accuracy of this technology. He has a private company that does this work on behalf of other corporations.
Yeah. We have to take him at his word, but it's not like he doesn't have a successful track record.
English

1.Bottom line is Biondi's "proprietary algorithms" are not verified. His claims require he release 100% for independent review and validation. Until then it's just noise.
2. The SAR data he is reusing was not generated for this purpose and detecting "latent ground vibration" Is indistinguishable from noise.
