@i2cjak this technology is not designed to come into contact with the skin. This is likely due to the coating, which prevents the laser from hitting them. I prefer Nokia's solutions where the antennas were literally stickers applied to the plastic (for example, the N73).

chuds, if you're designing something and it has an injection molded case you can use "laser direct structuring" to LITERALLY embed the antenna elements into the case. for basically free, and possibly larger than could be achieved on your PCB. better performance. it's nuts.

@cnxsoft @NordicTweets hope the support of nrf5 SDK come back. zephyr is terrible. miss the time having only a makefile and just a main.c now you need 4 degrees in pain and engineering just to flash a example code on a custom board. spending time configuring ecc..

Bluetooth LE Arm Cortex-M33 SoC for medical wearables cnx-software.com/2025/12/03/nor… The @NordicTweets nRF54LV10A supports BLE with Channel Sounding, 802.15.4, and 2.4 GHz proprietary, and consumes less than 50 nA in hibernation mode for shipping and storage. It's offered in either a tiny 2.3×1.9mm CSP package or a small 6x6mm QFN48 package, and since it operates with a 1.2 to 1.7V DC supply, it can be powered directly by a 1.5V silver oxide battery typically found in wearables, including medical and healthcare devices. #semiconductors

@naven0m I'm worried about how six years ago everything was a Jojo reference, but now every political event that happens is an MGS2 reference.

It's time for Microsoft to have another XPSP2 moment. No more AI, no more features. Just fixes. When I was working on Windows XP, Blaster hit. It was a big enough deal that we set aside all feature work. For the next several months, all we did was improve security. We didn't add "security features"; we fixed bugs. Lots of bugs. Until there weren't security bugs to fix anymore. Then we fixed the ones we didn't know about yet. Put more simply, we stopped trying to "add value" to the product through features that PMs thought users would like, and instead we focused on the things that had been important for a long time, but overlooked. Like performance and configurability today. Rather than trying to improve and add value to the system through new AI features -now-, I argue it's time for Microsoft to stabilize, improve, and make the system more performant. And more usable for power users. Just for one release. Just till it doesn't suck.

@Ekaeoq as a fusion user, is sad to see how fusion is written using Electron + some other random JS stuff, QT and some python all together. is pure trash that run for a miracle. at the time was the solidworks alternative for makers and now they had the public to use it, they made tash.

THIS FUCKING PROGRAM. A 2000€ PER YEAR software, called fusion360, can't, for the life, of me, handle a mesh body with more than 3 triangles EVERY CLICK IS CRUCIAL because you have to wait 5 fucking minutes between every single action you make: *you click* wait 5 minutes *type a number to scale a body* everything goes to shit and you wait for 10 minutes *realise it's a misclick* the fucking blank keyboard that requires 35 layers to get to a single digit(skill issue really) *you delete the wrong digit* wait another 5 minutes *after 30minutes you finally manage to type in 0.15* the goddamn app goddamn CRASHES EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Fusion 360 sees 10001 triangles and immediately starts calculating its own funeral, we could all take a page from blenders book 🖕
