The tension around this racial "blame game" only exists because Democrats are used to vilifying Republican voters. People are defensive about the idea that Black men are moving right bc the Dem script used to make sense of voters leaning right is "they're racist and evil." (Also because, to Symone's point, the shift is relatively small, and Black men out perform every other male racial demographic by a mile wrt Dem party fidelity.)
