I know many of you are carried away by the Tchuoameni, Baleba and Alex Scott links but have you asked yourself this; if INEOS couldn’t pay JUST £85m for Mateus Fernandes, would they be able to pay £90m+ for Tchuoameni, £80m+ for Baleba or £80m for Alex Scott?? I don’t see that happening. I’ve accepted that INEOS and Carrick have no clear ambitions and I’m seeing either Felix Nmecha, Sander Berge or Tyler Adams or even any of the two as the “IMPORTANT NAMES” we Were promised.
