I sold my startup this month. It was a really interesting time building an OKR management tool. I started Focus 3 years ago. Here are a few insights during the journey.

Today is Nyepi - Bali's Day of Silence. No flights. No internet. No noise. The entire island goes dark and quiet for 24 hours. It's a day of meditation, fasting, and complete stillness. I spent it doing something I rarely make time for: deep reflection. I analyzed what worked this year. What didn't. What actually matters versus what just feels urgent. It really helps. Take a silent day. Turn everything off. Sit with your thoughts. You'll be surprised what becomes obvious when the noise stops. P.S. The night before Nyepi, they parade these massive demon statues called Ogoh-ogoh through the streets to chase away evil spirits - then burn them.

I hosted an OpenClaw meetup last week. Security was everyone's #1 question. Here's what I told everyone: If you're installing locally - use dedicated, clean hardware. Nothing else on that machine. Different Apple ids. No saved credit cards or passwords in the browser. If you're going cloud - restrict your API access. Lock it down tight. But here's the thing most people miss: Cloud hosting is actually MORE secure for most use cases. Your home IP stays hidden. Your router isn't exposed. You get server-grade firewall protection out of the box. The "local is safer" mindset? Not sure. Unless you're running enterprise-level security at home (you're probably not), cloud wins. P.S. If you want to try OpenClaw on a secure VPS, check out ClawPlane.com. It offers one-click OpenClaw hosting and runs securely 24/7.

It’s agentic time. Just shipped a CLI for posthero.ai. Now you can create and manage content straight from the terminal. AI agents… your move.

Bali is the best place to build a startup if you're not raising VC. Low cost. High focus. Beach 10 minutes away when you need to clear your head. And everyone you meet is either building or thinking about building.

Most LinkedIn users are lost right now. The platform keeps changing. What worked last year doesn't work anymore. So I put together this guide. 26 rules for LinkedIn in 2026. I’ll send it to all LinkedIn Secrets subscribers tomorrow.

This week was crazy. I shipped analytics for X/Twitter in PostHero. Going to add 3-4 more platforms next week. Hosted an OpenClaw meetup with 20 entrepreneurs and creators. Everyone's genuinely interested in where this is going. And last, but not least: I talked to 4 PostHero users this week. You know this startups advice - go and talk with customers... Turns out, it’s actually a good one. Got a ton of feedback. Found confusing UI elements I’d never noticed. Got feature requests that open entirely new directions I hadn’t explored. Sometimes you think you know your product… until your users show you what it actually needs to be. Big lesson? There are no lessons. Just enjoying the process of building cool things. That's the week.

It's no longer interesting to read the replies to other people's posts on this site anymore. 95% AI slop. Some of it cleverly disguised but still fundamentally slop. Sad. Hacker News comments are still mostly unclankered.

This morning my OpenAI account got permanently restricted. Reason: they 'identified activity that is not permitted under the OpenAI policies'. After filing an appeal I was only informed about the decision being final and no additional requests to appeal are being considered. I'm on a paid ChatGPT plan and have a funded API balance, now I can not access my account anymore. Additionally, I can not manage billing and cancel ongoing subscription anymore. I've been a big fan and user of the companies products for a long time and see no other way to reach out now, hence this post. @OpenAI I'm asking you to please reopen this case, let me know what the explicit cause for the restriction is and at least let me manage the accounts, before restricting access, so I can cancel ongoing subscriptions and export data. /cc @oliviergodement @sama @nickaturley

I planned a small OpenClaw meetup for 12 people max. Then it sold out. Then 5-6 people texted me the day of asking to join. We ended up with 20 people in the room. I finished my slides 6 minutes before presenting. But here's what matters... the conversations after were incredible. People stayed for an hour just talking, connecting, and sharing ideas. OpenClaw is clearly a hot topic right now. Thanks to everyone who joined yesterday.

I moved all OpenClaw agents from Opus-4.6 and Sonnet to Gemini 3 Flash. Here's what happened: My API costs went down. Every agent call was burning through the budget. I was looking at $500+ monthly just to keep things running. The switch to Gemini 3 Flash cut my costs by 80% while maintaining 95% of the performance. Here's interesting benchmark on which model is best for OpenClaw. Gemini 3 Flash is on top. The only place it fell short? Complex multi-step reasoning chains. For those, we kept Opus on standby. If you're running OpenClaw agents and haven't audited your model usage, you're probably overpaying. Start with your highest-volume, lowest-complexity tasks.

This OpenClaw bot finds & reaches out to creators on autopilot... My client uses it to sign 100's of creators to his agency, here's how it works: - Finds 100's of creators via YouTube & Twitch - Scores every channel by views, niche & fit - Writes fully personalised emails for each one - Sends follow-ups automatically until they reply - Flags responses and books calls without you touching it - Runs 24/7 while you focus on closing Reply "OpenClaw" and I'll send you the full breakdown of how you can do it too (must be following so i can DM)
