@ianbremmer Trump will claim his policies have made older workers more comfortable (look at those 401k balances!) so they are finally able to retire. Firms get to higher new workers at lower wages so firms win. Apparent wage stagnation keeps the Fed tempered in rate policy. All great!

@greg_ip Apples to Apples? Obama had the benefit of massively exploding fiscal and monetary policy winds. Trump merely has enormously explosive fiscal policy. Either way you unitize the data, both regimes enjoy riches on the backs of those who remain unaware of the consequences.
