Should WordPress ship with Sqlite by default, you can replace with MySQL as needed?

@KatieKeithBarn2 I maintain a few plugins on w.org which means that I can’t risk it. Anyone that speaks up and disagrees gets banned - which means I wouldn’t be able to maintain my code. I’m a hostage.

@aristath What makes you scared of that - do you work for yourself or someone else? I only understand being afraid when you have an employer who it could affect, if they haven’t said you can share your opinions.

The reason I’ve been absent and silent in the WP community is simple: Fear. I am afraid to speak. Which begs the question, why am I even in a community that makes me feel this way?

☕️☕️☕️Achievement unlocked: Been consistently brewing my tastiest espressos for the past 2 weeks every morning, using an old Gaggia-classic machine that I modified, a bottomless portafilter, and a Lelit grinder. Relatively cheap, old equipment, but spent days finetuning it 🤘
