If your Dharma places importance on strict vegetarianism, Ahimsa, and certain lifestyle practices, it is natural to prefer neighbors and communities where these values are understood and respected. This is not about hatred, discrimination, or feeling superior to others. It is about avoiding unnecessary conflicts over food habits, religious practices, and daily living. Peaceful coexistence is often easier when people share similar expectations and sensitivities. Others have the right to live according to their beliefs. You have the right to live according to yours. Protecting your values is not intolerance. It is preserving an identity and way of life that has been passed down through generations. Practice your Dharma with confidence, while respecting the freedom of others to practice theirs. Live and let live.

A familiar response to this tweet has been Nehru was only ‘ELECTED’ in 1952 and not earlier. So my question remains the same: was Sardar Patel also an ‘unelected’ deputy PM and home minister of India? This constant attempt to denigrate the past does grave disservice to great leaders who shaped modern India. Why glorify the present by repudiating the past? (By the way, Mr Modi has been CM and then PM since 2001: a leader who has dominated Indian politics for a quarter century surely doesn’t need history rewritten in his favour. The replies on this tweet tell you why it is very necessary to live in a gated community even in a city like Mumbai. The hatred that is filled amidst mostly commoners is dangerous. I used to think Mumbai/Maharashtra is the most tolerant city. Very necessary to live only amidst elite or in your closed circles even here..

How can a simple white paint cause so much controversy? How can you despise a truly peaceful community when they generate 20% of jobs in your city despite being 4% of the population? Maharashtra is the land of Maharashtrians. That's true. Maharashtra is also an integral part of India. That's true. Millions of Maharashtrians live, work, and prosper across India. That's true. Millions of non-Maharashtrians live, work, and contribute to Maharashtra. That's also true. And one more truth: There are good people in every community, and there are bad people in every community. Let's judge people by their character and actions, not by their language, caste, religion, or state. And if a community, after obtaining the required permission from the concerned building committee, paints a white strip as a goodwill gesture to welcome its saints, that is not a crime either. Stop stereotyping entire communities for the actions of a few.

The amount of targeted hate and harassment I have received in past few days just for being Jain is unbelievable and unreal. Can’t believe I am saying this but for the first time even I feel thaf the real minority is so unsafe in this country. This wasn’t the city I grew up in. The divide and rule politics have ruined everything. Hate, views, validation, payout etc have won over humanity.

Also रयत शिक्षण संस्था च्या सध्याच्या संचालक मंडळ विषयी माझं चांगलं मत नाही, पण गाव खेड्यात आणि महाराष्ट्र च्या उद्धारात प्रगती मध्ये अनन्यसाधारण महत्व आहे. कर्मवीर भाऊराव आणि रयत शिक्षण संस्था (व्यस्थापकीय मंडळ नाही) ह्यांचं कार्य आणि जे त्यांनी गावखेड्यात शिक्षण नेऊन महाराष्ट्र साठी जे योगदान दिले ते अतुलनीय आहे🙌 त्याला भाषेच्या चौकटीत बंधू नये🙌 बाकी भाषा शुद्धी पेक्षा ,भाषा वृद्धी साठी काम होणे जास्त गरजेचे आहे. प्रमाण भाषा, ण, णी वगैरे ह्या गोष्टी गौन आहेत🙌 आणि भाषेकडे त्या angle ने बघणे फारच myopic होईल.

मैं सभी सनातनी मराठी बंधुओं से आग्रह करना चाहता हूँ कि @prasadvedpathak जी वही व्यक्ति हैं जिन्होंने सार्वजनिक रूप से भगवान गणपति बप्पा के प्रति अपनी आस्था पर प्रश्न खड़े किए हैं। मराठी और जैन समाज सदियों से आपसी सम्मान, सौहार्द और भाईचारे के साथ रहते आए हैं। दोनों समाजों ने एक-दूसरे की परंपराओं, आस्थाओं और संस्कृति का हमेशा सम्मान किया है। किसी एक व्यक्ति की नास्तिक सोच या विवादित बयानबाजी के कारण दो समाजों के बीच अविश्वास और दूरी पैदा करने का प्रयास दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है और रही दूसरी बात, सफेद लाइन किसी व्यक्ति, धर्म या समाज के खिलाफ नहीं है। गर्मी से बचाव और भवनों को ठंडा रखने के लिए मंदिरों सहित अनेक सामाजिक एवं सार्वजनिक स्थलों पर सफेद पेंट किया जाता है। इसका किसी धर्म, समुदाय या आस्था से कोई संबंध नहीं है। अनावश्यक विवाद खड़ा करने के बजाय तथ्यों को समझना और सामाजिक सौहार्द बनाए रखना हम सभी की जिम्मेदारी है।

माझ्या सर्व मराठी मित्रांना एक विनंती आहे. या माणसाला आंधळेपणाने पाठिंबा देण्याआधी एकदा नीट विचार करा. हा तोच माणूस आहे ज्याने एकदा कुणीतरी त्याला गणपतीची म्युरल भेट दिली म्हणून तक्रार केली होती. त्याला वैयक्तिकरित्या मूर्तीपूजेवर विश्वास नसेल, हा त्याचा वैयक्तिक विषय आहे. पण ज्याने श्रद्धेने आणि प्रेमाने भेट दिली, त्याच्या भावना तरी समजून घेता आल्या पाहिजेत. तुम्ही एखाद्याच्या श्रद्धेवर विश्वास ठेवत नसाल तरी त्या व्यक्तीच्या भावनेचा आदर करता येतो. पण तिथेसुद्धा याने रडगाणं गायलं आणि अपमानासारखी भाषा केली. आणि आता हाच माणूस मुलाखतीत म्हणतो की “आम्ही आमच्या देवीला कोंबड्या आणि बकरे अर्पण करतो”, जणू काही हा अचानक श्रद्धा आणि परंपरेचा रक्षक झाला आहे. मग नेमकी भूमिका काय आहे? कुणीतरी गणपतीची म्युरल भेट दिली तर मूर्तीपूजा चुकीची, पण सध्याच्या अजेंड्यासाठी कोंबडी-बकरी अर्पण करणं “आपली परंपरा”? हे मराठी अस्मितेचं प्रकरण नाही. हा निवडक संताप आहे. अशा लोकांचं कामच समाजात राग निर्माण करणं, विशिष्ट समाजांना टार्गेट करणं आणि स्वतःला चर्चेत ठेवणं असतं. आज जैन आहेत, उद्या दुसरा कुणीतरी असेल. मीडिया यांना फुटेज देतो कारण वादातून व्ह्यूज मिळतात, पण त्याची किंमत समाजाला द्वेष आणि फुटीच्या रूपाने मोजावी लागते. आपल्या संस्कृतीचा अभिमान बाळगणं योग्य आहे. पण त्या अभिमानाच्या नावाखाली दुसऱ्यांची श्रद्धा, आहार, जीवनशैली किंवा समाजाचा अपमान करणं हा अभिमान नाही, ती असुरक्षितता आहे. मराठी लोकांनी कुणाच्या वैयक्तिक नैराश्याचे आणि अपयशी प्रसिद्धीच्या प्रयत्नांचे फुकटचे कार्यकर्ते बनू नये. पाठिंबा देण्याआधी लॉजिकने विचार करा.

However, I now request all media representatives to kindly refrain from visiting our property and housing society for further coverage of this issue. For nearly a week, the residents of the society have experienced continuous disruption due to repeated visits, interviews, and media activity in the common areas. While the coverage was appreciated, it is important that normalcy returns for all residents. I am pleased to state that the dispute has now been resolved through dialogue and cooperation. The white patti that was at the center of the disagreement has been removed, and the affected area has been restored and repainted to its original condition. The matter has therefore reached a satisfactory conclusion. I believe that when a dispute is resolved peacefully and constructively, it is equally important to know when to close the chapter and move forward. In the interest of maintaining harmony, respecting the privacy of residents, and allowing the society to function normally, I consider this issue closed.
