Wow after being the oldest player to enter the Top 100 for the first time, Marco Trungelliti is now the oldest first-time ATP finalist! He takes out the defending champ and Top 20 Luciano Darderi 64 76 a life changing week for Marco! 👏 #GrandPrixHassanII

@Martynw34 Seles would have eclipsed everyone. Ten slams at age 19? That’s mental.

@audiolympics Graf was always my favourite growing up, Federer learned a lot from her with attitude on court, he admitted it as well, no one was better than her imo

@Martynw34 Love how he coached Murray when he’d also lost his first four slams. Tennis is sweet.

How many slams would Andy Murrray have won if he’d been born in 2000?

@mellandrri36906 @DjokovicFan_ Do you understand the difference between cocaine and performance enhancing drugs? One enhances performance and the other one decreases it. Now that’s hilarious. Thicko.

Wilander after Djokovic defeated Sinner in Australia: "If Novak Djokovic at 38 was able to beat Jannik Sinner, we don't need to guess what would've happened had they been the same age."

@Martynw34 I was playing a tourney in Hale, Cheshire. Caught up in the clubhouse between matches. Memories.

@Martynw34 There was so much at stake. He’d lost his first four slam finals and was two sets down in his fifth. Pressure. You could argue he might never have won one if it’d gone the other way. Legend.

@audiolympics Great point, had to wait until 1984 French Open Final before he finally won one & he was two sets down to McEnroe, showed a lot of bottle that

Used original 2005 Aero Pro Rafa rackets for 20 years. Just got a Pure Aero 98. It’s great but it generates so much spin that your opponent calls it out before it lands a foot inside the baseline. Progress? 😂

Marco Trungelliti at the age of 36 makes the Top 100 for the first time in his career today, he had a pop at Fedal for not doing more for the Tennis system with an interview with La Nacion; "People may like it or not but Federer or Nadal never said anything, they are complicit with how bad the system is now as they were not able to open their mouths even ONCE and fight for the rights of players. As players they can be great but as humans trying to improve the system they seemed very poor to me. This is why Djokovic is doing so well, I met him (Djokovic) at the US open and thanked him for what he is doing for the players. The one that hurts me the most is clearly Federer because with his weight of charisma, if he really wanted to change things, they could have been changed." Full link below; gbnews.com/sport/tennis-r…

Incredible victory for Marco Trungeletti. Finally breaks into the top 100 at 36 years old. He’ll have direct entry into Roland Garros for the first time after coming through qualifying at 8 majors prior.

Once known only as a match-fixing whistleblower, 36yo Marco Trungelliti’s now a semi-finalist in #ATPMarrakech and provisionally ranked 89. Fortune favours the brave.

@audiolympics @kela9123 Sampras was the next level and retired as the slam leader of his generation. To say he needed to "improve" his backhand to hit next level seems silly as he was it. His BH was exactly what he needed to execute his aggressive style of play.
