My brother Joe and I joined Hoffmann Brothers in 2016, but neither of us had the family business in our plans out of college. Joe spent 5 years gaining engineering experience at a major company in the HVAC industry. I served in the Marine Corps before going to business school. By the time the three of us started having conversations about the company’s future in 2014, Joe and I were were pursuing successful careers independent of the family business. We decided to join our father not because we lacked options, but because we shared a vision for what Hoffmann Brothers could become. We express that vision in our company’s stated Purpose: Improving life in every home. That's what we're out to do.
