We are slowly losing independent thinking with AI. Our feeds tell us Cursor is dead and everyone is using Claude Code. In reality, outside of tech, most people have only tried free tier of ChatGPT; they’ve never tasted what a chat memory layer feels like. I felt this really strongly since landing in SF a few days ago. I’ve only seen tech ads so far, about code review, CRM, autonomous agents, etc. On London tubes, there are ads about hair loss, trading stocks, and night schools. We are assuming the rest of the world is moving at the same pace and are making fun of old outdated tools. But the rest of the world is functioning as it is and is far more diverse than tech. This gap is actually our biggest opportunity for using technology to improve efficiency, closing gaps, and creating more fun.

I broke down the system design of 2 latest multi-agent orgs with the same prompts: @claudeai Agent Teams (Opus 4.6) vs @Kimi_Moonshot Agent Swarm (K2.5). My simple mental model: Agent Teams = you pick roles, a leader delegates, then stitches outputs together. Agent Swarm = you set a goal, it spawns parallel scouts, then a synthesizer clusters what matters. Deep Research can look similar, but it behaves differently: it narrows and verifies to avoid being wrong.
