I think there are some chicken-littles that owe me an apology. This is what I just paid for Diesel, and prices everywhere are improving rapidly. Its taken a little longer than I expected but I predicted from the start we would get through this without any of the 'doomsday scenarios' coming true, and here we are, through the worst of it, still intact. The fuel shortage is serious, yes, and its yet to have its full knock-on-effect on the economy, I'm not saying it was trivial or that it didn't hurt, but it was NEVER worthy of the fear-mongering and predictions of doom we've seen from some quarters. When are you going to concede that the war is now lost? The United States has had 5 opportunities to escalate & the President has refused. Without significant ground troops or use of a nuclear weapon, there is no opportunity to bend Iran to America’s will. Everyone knows that this is not possible. Trump has no political capital. His coalition has collapsed. Iran is strategically playing the clock.

We should be drilling and refining our own fuel. We should be globally competitive with the world's cheapest energy.
