@hoopsnsuplexes @Mo3Muse @DOC323123 I was one of them because the eye test and the numbers were bad, but I really think they figured out how to play with each other since it doesn't look so clunky anymore and the data backs it up. If he takes a massive discount, I think the Lakers will be contenders next season

At this rate, Marcus Smart is not likely to pick up the 5m player option. Remember, he's being paid probably closer to 20m this year (Wiz buyout + Lakers BAE). I think Smart will ask for 9-11m/year, on a 2-3 year extension.

Bron still being this unstoppable in transition is kinda nuts. Doesn’t really explode as a half court driver anymore but he still a f*cking jet if you give him a runway

@Mo3Muse @DOC323123 Next season, when the Lakers hopefully improve this roster, they'll get more transition opportunities for Bron because of defensive improvements. He also needs to be a more willing shooter

@Mo3Muse @DOC323123 I think moving forward, it's best that the Lakers utilize Luka mainly as a scorer and delegate some of the playmaking duties to Bron and AR. Bron will get most of his scoring opportunities in transition, and in the halfcourt, it'll have to be spot ups or post ups.

Lakers are 6-6 without Luka. A couple of those games are pure punts. They’re -1.91 with him off, +3.32 with him on. He’s been the driver of this season but I get uncomfortable with the messaging the Lakers have been pure ass whenever he steps foot off the floor

SGA is shooting 3/16 from the field and the Thunder are winning Nuggets and Spurs have GREAT records when they are without Jokic and Wemby The Lakers look terrible without Luka, by definition he is the most VALUABLE player

He's probably the 5th or 6th best player in the world this season. Definitely isnt chatting to Shai/Luka/Wemby/Kawhi right now but I can see the case for him over Ant. Idk if his playstyle improves at all when the Lakers get rid of Lebron

An interesting season no doubt for Luka, liked what he was doing early in the year with the exorbitant FTAr but when that started to dip the defense/3p bricks/turnovers/consistency became alarming, all the while he's dealt with bum teammates and pure terrorism all yr from Lebron
