@pathill_2 @BrianKempGA I can agree but differ on 2 points: -Troy got bubbled out the last two years for weak OOC. Committee rewarded them for fixing exactly what they specified. -I don’t see Troy as team 64. Kentucky and NC State are more questionable. I’m advocating for more mid majors overall.

Very different from the first article. The original statement was very well put, condemning what happened to @MercerBaseball, and the fact it was a "Politics 101" decision by @NCAABaseball This one focuses on the historic season. Again, a great season, with an unfortunate end.

Good for Mercer AD Jim Cole for calling out the politics of the @NCAABaseball process: "I could feel the politics of big-school athletics all weekend. The messages from friends progressed from, "Mercer is good," to "I'll put in a good word, but I'm only one vote," and, ultimately, to silence. To the committee: I have been in those rooms before, and I know what happened... This was Politics 101."

@soconpulse Basketball will likely always be a 1-bid league. Cross and Socon leadership need to realize the reality of what this means. Baseball and Football need to schedule aggressively OOC, or will be stuck with only the autobid. Player retention will continue to deteriorate otherwise.

@pathill_2 @BrianKempGA I disagree with the committee but putting Troy in is actually consistent with the logic of leaving Mercer out. Troy had a very strong OOC SOS. Kentucky and NC State are the culprits that should be under a microscope.
