@R160K @rb_tweets @Polymarket Wait is it the guy that tried to buy Italian Premier Minister Meloni for herd of fancy cows?

English

@Grossmanite @FlairTwenty @AaronBastani No, that's a socialist cope to pretend that's it's just "capitalism+". Fascism both privatized and nationalized in accordance with what they viewed as most advantageous to the state
English

@FlairTwenty @AaronBastani Aren't fascist economies virtually entirely privatised, with the state playing a much stronger role in overseeing and defending and directing them? Whereas China still has a lot of state *ownership*
English

Every business with more than 9 employees has a party cell.
Aidan Mattis@MattisRedacted
Because they adopted a form of state capitalism fifty years ago and haven’t actually been communist since the 80s
English

@CentrumLibertas @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Mongols ate horse, it's also still a commonly eaten animal across the world, including countries undoubtedly first world
English

@beemachine200 @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp To quite literally having very few other options available to them.
2000BC and beyond, civilizations like the Greeks, Roman's, Mongols, etc all used Horses as a companion esk partnership, using them to help hunt, transport goods, and conduct warfare
English

Why leave out the horse?

I draw the line right here. Thanks for asking PETA
English

@CentrumLibertas @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Horse as food is fairly common in western civilization, just look at central Europe. Anglo is not the end all be all of the west. Also I'm a weeb so I don't care I love 馬刺
English

@beemachine200 @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Horses were a core need for Human transportation, Combat, travel, and other means.
Now they are used primarily for travel without gas expenses for farmers, Amish, or used in things such as Horse racing.
Horse as a FOOD is extremely uncommon especially in western civilization
English

@CentrumLibertas @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp And especially not comparable to another human
English

@CentrumLibertas @paulmyass @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Horses were literally bred for food. Their entire purpose was that they were more suitable livestock among the steppes than cattle were, and the Indo Europeans later realized they could ride them. Even longer than they've been a friend theyve been food. Not comparable to a dog
English

@paulmyass @CentrumLibertas @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Dogs still have had a longtime use for guarding livestock against predators and combat against other humans. But horses are definitely a valid food animal they taste very good
English

@CentrumLibertas @ren_takahas @bunburyoudoujp Cows helped labour far more then all horses combined.
Dogs weren't useful to civilization since Neolithic, outside of games for arisistocrats, because we haven't subsisted on hunting for millenia
English

@SirCumference98 @tiredhungryangr @EllieGabalus That population of Argentines on the island was small, short lived, and also came after populations of British and Spanish settlers, so the Argentine idea that they were indigenous people stripped of land they were at first is BS, they were, like the British, also colonizers,
English

@Doomerzoomer @thomasunise At the time of me writing this, your comment here got over 10x the amount of veiws as the average post from that influencer. Phoebe was completely correct to turn $4k for that deal down
English

@thomasunise I mean sure but if your father is a billionaire maybe haggling on the internet with someone who can screenshot your entire conversation isn’t the smartest business decision in life

Her dad is worth $130 billion.

English

@beemachine200 @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna As a blanket statement thats stupid because blanket statements are generalizations which exclude rare exceptions not focus on them. Would it be true? Technically I guess, maybe. Does that prove anything in the context of this discussion? No lol.
English

@Echoochoomander @ahh1l @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna All those contexts usually refer to an intended two, it's not uncommon to bring it up if you end up doing more. Very funny that ESL Europeans are arrogant enough to think they know a language better than it's native speakers
English

@beemachine200 @ahh1l @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna "Eat a couple of snacks"
"Drink a couple beers"
"Check out a couple stores"
This shit never means "exactly 2" outside of calling a relationship a couple lmao.
English

@ahh1l @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna Would a blanket statement that 5 doesn't mean 5 be true then because in certain context the meaning changes?
English

@beemachine200 @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna In that context, but not in other contexts. Thats how context works. This isn't that hard to understand, jesus christ
English

@beemachine200 @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna yeah its almost as if context affects the meaning of the word, crazy huh
English

@ahh1l @SkinnyTuna That certain amount is one. That is exactly how language works, words have certain meanings
English

@SkinnyTuna people in the comments acting like the distinction between "a couple" and "a few" is numerical, as if at a certain ammount "a couple" becomes "a few". You fucking retards lmao, thats not how language works.
English

@ahh1l @Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna That's quite obviously different, "I'll be there in ___" almost never means an exact time
English

@Kuroiya1 @SkinnyTuna Yeah if someone tells me "i'll be there in a couple of minutes" I always assume they mean exactly two
English

@SkinnyTuna Yeah yeah yeah I'm still not opening up my relationship
English

@spandrell4 @GearoidReidy Name a single, meaningful(not anime or hentai), realm in which Japan outperforms China...?
