@lenaisok The timing is just shocking. A gun bill passed the senate for the first time in memory, and the sc throws another states right in the bin. SC is the successful side-step to anything resembling representative government.

With my kid I try to push the idea that it's valuable to think of a number as *not* something that exists, but as something you *do* either to numbers or things.

Why is it that explaining to kids the underlying logic of multiplication is easy but doing the same for division algorithms is so hard?
