PM Modi’s visit to Israel, the call to express solidarity with UAE govt and the silence on Ali Khamenei death are clear signs that India is with the US-Israel axis. Whether it’s the ‘right’ call we shall know in time (‘normalising’ regime change through bloody conflict is fraught with unimagined risk) but for now New Delhi appears to have abandoned any pretence of neutrality and non-alignment in the belief that our ‘national interest’ lies in being with the more powerful side in a polarised Trumpian world disorder. How we navigate this uncertain world will be watched with much interest... #IranWar
