I don't know when people started saying Happy Easter on Good Friday but it's not appropriate. Jesus was crucified on Good Friday. That wasn't a happy occasion. You say Happy Easter on Easter Sunday.

@brrr_add @simplyalexk ER is/was a great show. The latter episodes were a bit painful but the early seasons are where the action is at.
My favourites are Robert Romano and Lucy Knight - it sucks they both died.

They were literally telling political editors that he was on suicide watch because he was vocal on jury trials. What sort of individual goes into politics to do that? How do you square that as being ok and the change you want to see in the country?

@JHDScourfield It’s a PITA as so many organisations, banks particularly, insist on calling you by your first name. On the rare occasions I get sent cheques I have had to take them to a bank, as being made out to my middle name no app will accept them. (Monzo might now but I haven’t tried it.)

I use my middle name when I publish so that my writing is solely attributable to me but don’t use it online so that my tweets can reflect poorly on the other Jonathan Fines.

I've developed a pretty thick skin over the years, but the one thing that still pisses me off is when people make fun of me for using my middle name. The *only* reason I go by David Austin Walsh is that David Walsh is an incredibly common name.
