i’ve been fortunate enough to be mentored by some of the most experienced designers in tech early in my career. (thanks to the lads at @lifiprotocol & @ParagonsDAO) these learnings never made me compromise on the creative trust that i owed to every founder and team i worked with. for the last 3 years, every project came through referrals from clients and friends (ilu), so i never really felt the need to launch. but in a post ai era, i believe that peer-to-peer learning would be one of the most important aspects of growing as a designer or even as a studio. we've spent the last year experimenting obsessively with ai tools, workflows, storytelling systems, and new ways of creating. so it feels like the right time to share learnings and build in public. launching @dapptales publicly - a creative studio specialising in tasteful storytelling for tech companies. and here's a little video about what we're best at :))

A personal update. May was my last month at @cookie3 . When I joined 3 years ago, I couldn't have imagined the journey ahead. Fresh out of college, with a basic understanding of crypto and an even smaller one of sales, I met the team at a local event in Warsaw. One phrase piqued my interest: "behavioural analytics." @fwielanier mentioned he wasn't hiring at the time, but I had a feeling this was the opportunity I'd been looking for, so we exchanged contacts. Two weeks later I had a part-time offer. A month after that, it was full time. Cookie gave me a rare thing in crypto: a product solving a real problem. We built an attribution engine for marketers at a time when most web3 teams were stuck stitching together a Google Analytics equivalent that didn't exist yet, and when serious data work still meant living in Dune. As the first BD hire, my job was simple: talk to as many companies as possible. So I did. Looking back at my calendar, I spoke with roughly 2,000 different projects and companies over those 3 years. Not every call landed, but each one taught me something about the narratives, the relationships, and the real problems facing marketers and growth leads in web3. @fwielanier , @w_piech , @mikedotcook , and @KrysiaKozak taught me an enormous amount, and were endlessly patient doing it. Business, product, management, GTM, or just "how does this actually work," the team always had my back. Team made pivots felt like direction rather than wishful thinking. And the processes... so many processes (the good kind). But the part I'll carry with me most is the people. I'm a people person first, and getting to build real friendships across the entire world was the best part of the job. If I can pass on one thing to anyone starting their BD journey: lead with the relationship. When a deal comes out of that, it's a bonus, not the goal. For now, I'm taking a break. I have a few things lined up, but I want a moment to step back and recharge first. Grateful doesn't quite cover it. I know there are great things ahead for this team, especially with CookiePRO going live soon. My DMs are open, so don't be a stranger.🍪
