@rajuvamsi007 @Tesla No, HW4 14.2 FSD. It really fought me by surprise. I thi k the pothole caused the front wheels of the car to jerk as it was turning and triggered a disengagement. Very dangerous.

Had a weird FSD behaviour yesterday. Car was pulling into a parking lot, hit a large pot hole that disengaged FSD. Car kept roling toward car in the opposite lane. @Tesla is it normal for FSD to ever disengage on it's own. This should never have happened as far as I am concerned as an FSD user. FSD should never surprise the user without warning about disengagement... Especially disengagement requiring split second reactions.

@bmaltais @mark_k @midjourney @grok Again, advertised for porn generation. There's no excuse. It's international. Especially with Grok.

Here's the problem with @Midjourney, in a nutshell:
They are stuck with their technology stack, which is Diffusion-Transformer (DiT). This is essentially still the same tech as Stable Diffusion and FLUX used.
Newer models like Nano Banana and GPT-Image are multimodal transformers. Essentially, the same model that generates text (like GPT) can also generate images! This allows for much better prompt understanding and unparalleled realism.
So why can't Midjourney switch to the same technology?
Because it's crazy expensive and difficult to train an entire foundation model. Midjourney is a small company and doesn't have the resources to do this. It would also take years to perfect.

It's a pretty okay car, but it is, at the end of the day, just a car.
Support for a discontinued product is always iffy, but when they're exiting the entire EV industry, well, that's gonna be a no for me no matter what.

@CollinRugg It is time FAFO applies. People think they can get away with anything. Time to make examples so others think twice before FA.

NEW: Family of a Texas teen loses it as judge sentences him to 25 years in prison for robbing a convenience store.
Judge Raquel West was seen torching 18-year-old Caden James Fontenette before handing out the sentence.
"There was a time some years ago that there really wasn't even a question... State's attorneys were recommending youthful offenders probation. Let's give everybody an opportunity..." West said.
"You don't have a good likelihood of being successful if I were to put you on probation... I'm going to sentence you to a term of 25 years."
Fontenette pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery for a 2025 incident where he and two others robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.
The suspects were caught on camera assaulting the store clerk.
Fontenette will likely be in his 40s when he is released from prison.

@ryangerritsen It will take a miracle. They should have gotten SpaceX to build a launch site there instead.
English

“This new deal does not mean Canada will suddenly stop relying on SpaceX however. Spaceport Nova Scotia is still working toward full orbital operations, and it will take years before Canadian launch systems are ready to compete with the speed, price, and launch cadence SpaceX offers today. Still, the investment makes it clear Ottawa wants a backup plan and, eventually, a launch option that is fully under Canadian control.”
This will be an epic waste of money, and all just to stick it to Elon? We are not a serious Country.

@Sirius14082932 @joshryanjames Since when are Muslims a majority anywhere in Canada? The day this happen we will have been conquered. Don't let it happen.
English

@joshryanjames If they are a majority Muslim school, I guess that works. However, it seems easier to give the Muslim students a place to go during lunch. It is illegal to keep a student from lunch in the United States. They must accommodate both, if any!!
