@JayKranda @newrelic works! NewRelic MCP is gated to paid customers and not available to those on the non-profit plan, but the CLI works VERY well. Opus guided me in the CLI install and helped me to identify the settings and targeted queries to ensure that the delete data was captured.

My first real production bug from vibe coding with Claude. I tried to build a "Deletion Report" for @RockRMS to see who deletes things. Had a few moments so far on Rock where staff is deleting event templates (not fun), but can't easily see who did it. Just build it right?

I'm beginning to see some correlation between @AnthropicAI releases and my sleep debt. If Anthropic continues as this rate I should expect acute psychotic symptoms due to sleep debt in less than 2 weeks.

I’m gonna be curious to see how the move to headless like this is going to open up products like salesforce to a whole new tier of customer. I went through the process of applying for the Salesforce nonprofit grant for my daughter's softball league to help manage volunteers and donor relations. However, the process of onboarding and maintaining the system in the long term didn't seem realistic. The league will inevitably have some turnoverin in donor relations, and it seems unlikely that the next person to run that area would be interested in learning and maintaining a Salesforce platform. However, with a headless option like this, it would open up usability to people regardless of their technical expertise. They could simply interact with the Salesforce data in whatever method was most convenient to them. I'm definitely going to set up this Salesforce MCP and see how well it performs using the most complex systems I use and the simplest systems, like Poke.com, that allow interacting via SMS only. I'll be curious to see how it does in both scenarios.

@JayKranda Good to know. Makes me wonder if it is logged in NewRelic. I’ve never taken the time to dig through those logs but it seems possible and it would be the excuse I need to get my NewRelic MCP configured. If the deletion log is there I’m sure Opus can find it.

@bscottdavis Not yet. I kind of gave up and workflow was the only option. Even at that point it would capture the event but not always the full user info. I do think if they exposed more of layer 2 we could build it. I always want an export report to track who is moving data out.

@JayKranda Clever idea, I’ve gone down that “who dummit” road too many times and it’s so painstaking I often throw in the towel before I find the root issue. I had never thought of a workflow trigger. Did Claude find a better solution for tracking deletions?

Good news is Claude was able to easily diagnose the issue, even told me it was me based on the audit log (thanks for logging that) on Rock, & removed the workflow. Lesson learned 😁

@elonmusk @grok I’m genuinely curious, does the way that Elon invests his time/money align with this thinking in your opinion? Why or why not? If you were Elon and you believed in UBI whole heartedly would you invest any differently?

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

This is a nice improvement. One of my hesitations to use computer use in other apps is that it doesn’t help my productivity if I have to stop working to let it take over. If I can look over its shoulder while I work this is a game changer.

Background Computer Use Computer Use in Codex has some deep OS-level wizardry. Codex can see/click/type in apps in the background, without taking over your computer, and you can work in parallel. @AriX and team absolutely crushed here. Windows soon.

ok actually insane paper published yesterday a research group in Korea built a gene switch you can control wirelessly using electromagnetic fields they exposed mice to 60 hz EMF (same frequency as your wall outlet) using a pair of large coils that generate a uniform magnetic field around the animal, for cyclic 3-day on / 4-day off pulses they showed this could: - activate OSK to do epigenetic reprogramming in progeroid and aged mice, extending lifespan and reversing aging markers across multiple tissues - conditionally switch on mutant amyloid genes only in aged mouse brains, letting them separate aging effects from amyloid effects to study AD biology in a way previous models couldn't no drugs, no impacts, just a magnetic field from outside the body

I fully reverse-engineered Ramp's internal AI operating system. Their system — called Glass — is how they got 99% of their entire company using AI every single day. 350+ reusable workflows. Every tool connected at first login. Memory that refreshes every 24 hours. Automations running while everyone sleeps. I partnered with my engineering team and we broke down every component inside it. Then we rebuilt the whole thing for marketing agencies. 76 pages. Every system. Every layer. Every step. Steal it. Comment "OS" and I'll send it directly. Must be a following to receive auto DM
Eric Glyman@eglyman

99% of Ramp uses ai daily. but we noticed most people were stuck — not because the models weren't good enough, but because the setup was too painful and unintuitive for most. terminal configs, mcp servers, everyone figuring it out alone. so we built Glass. every employee gets a fully configured ai workspace on day one — integrations connected via sso, a marketplace of 350+ reusable skills built by colleagues, persistent memory, scheduled automations. when one person on a team figures out a better workflow, everyone on that team gets it and gets more productive. the companies that make every employee effective with ai will compound advantages their competitors can't match. most are waiting for vendors to solve this. we decided to own it.
