Compliance doesn’t equal accessibility and website compliance (while ignoring all the content on your website not in html) doesn’t equal accessible either…

This is what can happen when you think that complying with accessibility regulations and standards is enough. Compliance does not equal accessibility. Roadworks mean no dropped kerb, so a temporary ramp is put down but in a useless way. #AccessibilityRegulations #A11y

@A11yLondon Creating accessible PDF from the scratch is much easier process than fixing unaccessible PDF. If the final format of the file should be PDF, make it accessible from the starting point (e.g Word,InDesign). I agree with @samspearsevans, choosing the right format is very imortant.
