Hot take: I think this is being blown a bit out of proportion.
I am not a fan of body type 1-2 or A-B either, but unlike a lot of games that do this, they did not make that change after starting with male and female. It was that way from the start.
They also did not make it a marketing point or draw attention to it, so I do not think it is a huge deal.
Not saying you have to like it or that you cannot want it changed, but I do not think locking the thread is a big deal.
They probably do not want to open that can of worms, and it is better not to respond at all to these kinds of things than to lash out or say something you might regret later.
