@Maaikees I too have lost faith in testing as a role. My questions or feedback are considered not testing because I am not designing or executing test cases. Is the organization scared of reality & complexity? Avoiding them by using a ‘mask’ that seems responsible & stops awkward insights

@riaan_dp @RootsOfWork In my experience it constrains the learning and needed conversations by creating fear of rejection, limited or panic thinking and unwillingness to be open. It breaks down psychological safety and fosters distrust.

Stress causes focused attention on a very small part of the work. It causes people to loose sight of the whole and encourages local optimizations that hurt the bigger system. Work systems that generate stress is not only destructive to people, but also to itself.
