@jdipoto45 @polish_man23 @TheSpeculator0 I cannot fathom the level of delusion guys like you have for Elon. The man is retarded, proven by his tweets. I’ve been following spacex since the beginning, I would love for it to succeed. Alas, starship is toast

@polish_man23 @TheSpeculator0 I just want to see what their excuse is when Neuralink inevitably goes IPO for another few trillion dollars… darn you Elon for curing paralysis, brain damage, blindness etc. Same guy in the threads will try to argue that Shopify is more innovative as well. Lol!

I’m a SpaceX fan and I simply like SpaceX more because they’re worlds better than others, that’s just a fact, and only a Musk hater would get upset or argue about it. I watched the NASA launch because I think the mission itself is great, not because I like the disposable vehicle they’re using, the camera work, or the billions it has cost.

I am beginning to think that this American experiment has failed. Maybe we need to have a dictatorship for a period of time, then reboot with a newly written constitution?

@tavi_chocochip @MeTheAngryCat Look into it. Spacex Starship is a crucial part of Artemis III and IV, and so on. Artemis III is scheduled for next year, and Starship cannot even get to orbit yet, not to mention refuel in orbit 🤣

I find it weird that Elon didn't mention NASA's Artemis II mission at all, despite posting quite a lot on other topics. He keeps saying space exploration is super-important to him. So does he really care about human missions to space, or is it only when it's a SpaceX program?

Imagine spending $93 billion and waiting 50 years just to recreate a mission already did in 1968. Artemis II is basically a $4 billion-per-launch participation trophy for the SLS. While SpaceX is out here landing boosters and building Starships, NASA is patting themselves on the back for a lunar flyby that doesn't even touch the surface.

During his “Liberation Day” remarks, President Trump said tariffs would spark an industrial rebirth, with jobs and investment pouring into the country. He cited $6T already committed and later claimed totals as high as $18T in new foreign investment within the year. Foreign direct investment (FDI) into the United States has seen no such dramatic spikes. In 2025, FDI totaled $288.4 billion—more than an order of magnitude smaller than President Trump’s claims. Total FDI in 2025 was below the prior 10 years’ average of $320.7 billion and lower than the annual totals in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 ($405.5 billion, $338.4 billion, $297.4 billion, and $292.3 billion, respectively).

This isn’t a small deal. Restaurant Depot is where most mom & pop restaurants go to buy inventory because Sysco is so expensive. Restaurant Depot was privately owned. Sysco is owned by… you guessed it, BlackRock & Vanguard. Now private equity can control pricing for food costs with zero competition. Just like they did with housing. This should be an anti-trust violation, but we have politicians that work for Big Corp, not us.
Jonathan Maze@jonathanmaze

Notable deal in distribution this morning. Sysco is buying Restaurant Depot for $29 billion. Plans to expand RD more aggressively. It gives Sysco a huge entry into cash-and-carry and a large number of independent restaurant customers. restaurantbusinessonline.com/financing/sysc…

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…
unusual_whales@unusual_whales

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

To our Jewish community: This is what’s happening in the West Bank right now. A Palestinian man describes a brutal sexual assault by Israeli settlers amid a wider pattern of escalating terror and impunity allowed by the state. We have to see Palestinians’ humanity – and the reality of their abuse at the hands of other Jews – and ask what kind of country Israel is becoming. Then demand a different path.
CNN International@cnni

Israeli settlers have increasingly used violence against Palestinians in a bid to drive them from their homes in the occupied West Bank. But sexual assault appears to be a new weapon in these settlers’ arsenal of intimidation, pointing to a troubling new level of violence. cnn.it/4du8vj6

This is wild. 143 million people thought they were catching Pokémon. They were actually building one of the largest real-world visual datasets in AI history. Niantic just disclosed that photos and AR scans collected through Pokémon Go have produced a dataset of over 30 billion real-world images. The company is now using that data to power visual navigation AI for delivery robots. Players didn't just walk around with their phones. They scanned landmarks, storefronts, parks, and sidewalks from every angle, at every time of day, in lighting and weather conditions that staged photography would never capture. They documented the physical world at a scale no mapping company with a fleet of vehicles could have replicated on the same timeline or budget. Niantic collected this systematically, data point by data point, across eight years, while users thought the only thing at stake was catching a rare Charizard. The most valuable AI training datasets in the world aren't being assembled in data centers. They're being built by people who have no idea they're building them.
