@JBoner2009@RonStewart_ There are levels to bad QB play. Fannin broke out with the blind throwing the ball last year there. You can have bad real life QBs that support WRs
@cecchiniandrew@RonStewart_ Please look @ Justin Jefferson and George Pickens as examples of how QB play effects WR’s
You have KC most likely with bad QB play for the next 2 years
@JBoner2009@RonStewart_ I mean this was similar to Ladd’s line his rookie year. Obviously he could just slot in to mid WR3 territory. It was implied that if you believe in the player and talent and target earner, draft him
@JBoner2009@RonStewart_ He’s the 24th overall pick who should be a great target earner. Yes QB play is worse, but it’s feasible to see a 1k-1100 yard season and his value climbs
@Beedub1977@JasonMoore Sure. Could easily end up with the 3rd pick. I’m going to easily taken the Browns roster over the dolphins. Jets maybe the main competition
@cecchiniandrew@JasonMoore All negated when the opposing QB throws 4 picks. I know it’s not star studded, but Miami does have competent players. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not giving them more than three wins, but that’s around the floor for the Jets and Browns too.
I'm working on the stats for the UDK going team by team right now and... holy hell... how does anyone get the #1 pick away from the Miami Dolphins in 2027? They don't have a team.
@RonStewart_ I just don’t see WR1 upside with KC.
His upside is what, Zay Flowers. Plus you’ll have to wait at least a year with the Browns QB situation. Price you draft now and get immediate profit, KC is a sunk cost going into 27.
Hot take: The 2027 class is currently very overrated. Outside of Jeremiah, the skill position players aren’t great and all the QBs need a big year to elevate themselves.
Not saying it won’t happen or some skill position players can’t jump up, but the class isn’t bulletproof.
If you can’t get 27 picks for your mid-late 26 picks, then try for 28s
@Steelers_DB I’m officially on board with this. With that said, if I’m Watt or Heyward, I’m not thrilled. Then again, both should’ve done more to help them win a playoff game the past decade.
Independent of today’s news, my preference would be for the Steelers to just let Will Howard & Drew Allar battle it out in camp to see who starts. The odds are that both would eventually play anyways.
Pittsburgh’s got the necessary offensive eco-system in place to properly evaluate a young quarterback and it would give them the answers (whether good or bad) that they need before the 2027 NFL Draft.
@champ0992@DonChed54 The hope is they actually play good enough to want to come out. Obviously if they all suck the class could get weaker. But there should be easily 3+ first round graded QBs next year
@DonChed54 This 27 class is suppose to be great but just like last year a lot of them don't have to come out this year. Mastemaker, Mensah, Sayan, and Carr have 2 years of eligibility. Then who knows what's going to happen with Sorsby and his gambling mess.
@FFDynastyGrill@ukdynastyy Baker was coming off a 4,500 yard season. Hurts is coming off 3,200. That’s an entire WR1 worth of yards that’s unavailable. Need to see Hurts throw for 4,000 to support two high end WRs which he has never done.
There is another RB in the 2027 class in the Love/Jeanty tier and his name is Ahmad Hardy.
Some of the most unbelievable contact balance you will ever see, and a potential top 10 pick in 2027
