No matter how bad the Bulls got, Stacey made them worth watching. Forever the voice of the Bulls.

"He made people feel like they belonged where their feet were...there are only a few people that we're lucky enough to meet in our lives that have that and he was one of those people." @adamamin on his partner Stacey King:

@chicastpod @CHSN__ @A2Sources Cancel the United Airlines contract naming rights and name it after Stacy, The King Center. Then have the Reinsdorfs legally change their last name to King. And then put Kings name in front of the Advocate Center. Go full Trump with his name!

We remember people less for what they did & more for how they made us feel. It’s what’s showing up in the grief around Stacey King. His accomplishments matter, but what lingers is his energy & how he spread joy. how you make people feel along the way is what you leave behind

Stacey King was Chicago Bulls basketball. And will always be. The news broke during our show. A heartbreaking loss.

Michael Jordan on Stacey King’s passing: “I’m deeply saddened to learn of Stacey’s passing. We shared some special years together as teammates, and he was part of a group that helped define an era of Chicago Bulls basketball. My thoughts are with Stacey’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.” (via @ESPN1000)

Stacey King honestly over pretty much the past decade has been the best thing about watching a Bulls game.

Stacey King’s passing really hurts deep in the chest. Watching Bulls games as a kid, he made every game feel bigger than it was, creating such an exciting atmosphere through his commentary and giving us some of the most ICONIC calls and moments. His voice became a part of Bulls basketball for so many fans, and it’s hard to imagine the game without it. He wasn’t just calling games, he was part of what made so many people fall in love with Bulls basketball. Rest in Peace King 💔
