Today in budget hearings, we heard from the Office of Property Assessment and right now, we have not had any improvements in our processes and it is costing our City millions in lost revenue. We need stronger, more efficient processes in reference to our commercial appeals that ensure we’re collecting what’s owed.

BREAKING: Connecticut House passed a bill to require parents to prove their innocence before allowing them to homeschool.
The vote was 96–53.
It's on the Senate calendar.
Connecticut may be the first state to go backwards on homeschool freedom in the last 50 years.

This is a fine idea, but dead on arrival in the USA of 2026. You would need 2/3 of the House and the Senate, and 38 state legislatures, for this to become law. We can't even pass balanced budgets, every SCOTUS confirmation is a street fight. This ship has sailed.

I am introducing a Constitutional Amendment to end Birthright Citizenship. Under current interpretations of American law, anyone born on American soil automatically becomes a U.S. citizen, regardless of whether the parent was here legally or not. This is wrong and not at all the intent of those who wrote the 14th Amendment. We are a country filled with immigrants, and legal immigration is valuable and should be protected. But we are also a country whose borders have been too open and our generosity exploited too often. President Trump has moved to seal our border from illegal immigrants more than any other president. But we will have more to do. We need to make sure that only children born to legal residents of the U.S. are automatically citizens. I have supported protecting birthright citizenship from abuse since the beginning of my tenure in the Senate, when I cosponsored the Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, and now I am proposing an amendment to protect United States citizenship in case the Supreme Court fails to address this issue correctly.

There's a general store with 2 gas pumps down the road from us in rural Kentucky. It's the last one in our county that hasn't been bought up by foreigners and converted into a kratom/vape emporium. In December, we bought it.

It is crazy how bad food used to be. You would stop in a town on a road trip and PRAY they had an Applebee's otherwise you were probably stuck a greasy spoon diner burger or some takeout Chinese. Now even dive bars have sweet potato fries.

Yes. Give her the money and make sure this happens. I can not stress enough, subscale workforce housing is impossible if evictions take 8 months. And there are way more scam artist tenants taking advantage than you think, whatever you’d expect- it’s ALOT more.
