In the silent chambers of the soul, ancient vibrations hold the key to true restoration. The book Healing Mantras by Thomas Ashley-Farrand reveals the sacred Sanskrit sounds that realign body, mind, and spirit with effortless precision. These are not mere words, they are living frequencies, forged in the fires of tradition, capable of dissolving discord and awakening inner harmony. For those who seek a daily practice rooted in pure wisdom rather than fleeting trends, this volume stands as a quiet yet profound guide. Turn to its pages, intone its mantras with presence, and witness the subtle transformation unfold. The path of sound is open to all who listen. #HealingMantras #SacredSound #ThomasAshleyFarrand #InnerWisdom

We have heard you. Clearly and openly. Over the past few days, our community and customers have spoken - and we have listened. Today, we are standardizing our In-Store Style Guide and sharing it publicly and transparently: lenskart.com/style-guide-le… These guidelines explicitly and unambiguously welcome every symbol of faith and culture our team members carry - bindi, tilak, sindoor, kalawa, mangalsutra, kada, hijab, turban, and more. Not as exceptions. As who we are. Lenskart was built in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians. Our 2400+ stores are run by people who bring their beliefs, their traditions, their identity to work every day. That is not something we will ever ask anyone to leave at the door. If any version of our workplace communication caused hurt or made any of our team members feel that their faith was unwelcome here, we are deeply sorry. That is not who Lenskart is, and it is not who we will ever be. We make a commitment today - not just in words, but in the document we are publishing - that every policy, every training material, and every communication that carries the Lenskart name will reflect these values. We remain committed to applying these guidelines fairly and consistently, and will continue to review and improve our processes. We will do better. And we will keep earning your trust. 🙏 -Team Lenskart

I chose strong words not out of disrespect, but because I believe what Lenskart did was genuinely heinous and deserves to be called out sharply. Let me humbly explain why I feel so strongly: This wasn’t a simple policy mistake or poor communication. It was a deliberate, institutional attempt to erase visible symbols of faith and culture bindi, sindoor, turban, kada, mangalsutra, tilak from their own employees in a country as diverse as India. These aren’t mere accessories; they are deeply personal expressions of identity, tradition, and faith for millions. By trying to ban or hide them, Lenskart was essentially asking Indians to leave their Indianness at the door while profiting from Indian customers. What makes it even more painful is the hypocrisy. They have built their entire brand on “Made in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians,” yet internally they were running a cultural sterilization drive. This isn’t just corporate arrogance, it is an attack on the very social fabric that holds our incredibly diverse society together. When a large, influential company normalizes the idea that Indian cultural and religious markers are “unprofessional,” it sets a dangerous precedent. It chips away at the idea that we can be proudly Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian, or anything else and still be professional. Their apology only came after massive public outrage. The sudden release of the “Style Guide” and the theatrical “we have listened” statement prove they weren’t sorry for hurting people’s dignity or faith, they were only sorry they got caught. That level of insincerity and cynicism is what made me react so angrily. I agree that ideally, criticism should remain dignified. But when companies with massive reach try to quietly erase our cultural identity and then hide behind polished PR, sometimes strong language is the only way to reflect the depth of the betrayal ordinary Indians feel.

Ouch. Would’ve preferred this without the swear words, but What a Takedown of @peyushbansal and @Lenskart_com damage control PR. Lenskart isn’t actually sorry for anything - they’re just sorry they got caught doing utterly shameful things.
Targeted Coding@codingtargeted

Dear Lenskart, Fuck you. And fuck your entire damage-control circus. We read your cute little apology PR vomit, that nauseating mix of "we have heard you", fake humility, and sudden enlightenment. The way you’re now parading your freshly baked "Style Guide" like it’s some revolutionary document from the gods of wokeness. Listing bindi, tilak, hijab, turban, mangalsutra, and kada like you deserve a medal for finally allowing Indians to look like Indians in your stores. Bitch, please. You didn’t "listen" because you suddenly grew a spine or respect for Bharat. You listened because your customer base dragged you by the collar, lit your ass on fire on social media, and threatened your 2400+ stores with boycotts. This wasn’t listening, this was getting your corporate balls squeezed until you squealed. Now you’re rushing to publish what should have been basic common sense from day one, acting like humble servants of culture while your internal policy was clearly trying to sterilize every trace of Indian identity at work. You built your empire "in Bharat, by Indians, for Indians"? Then why the fuck did it take public outrage for you to accept that your own people wearing their own faith isn’t a bug , it’s the damn feature? Were your trainers and managers secretly running a cultural erasure bootcamp until the heat became unbearable? Spare us the theatrical "we are deeply sorry" and the fake 🙏. You’re not sorry. You’re sorry you got caught. You’re sorry the receipts started flying. You’re sorry your half-assed internal communication exposed the elitist, deracinated, wannabe-Western corporate rot hiding behind your made-in-India branding. This isn’t a comeback story. This is you getting rightfully humiliated for crossing a line that should never have been crossed. Indian faith and culture aren’t accessories you "permit" when the PR pressure mounts. They are non-negotiable. The fact that you needed a public scandal and a shiny new PDF to understand that proves how disconnected and arrogant your top brass really is. Keep your standardized Style Guide. Keep your empty promises to "do better." A lot of us have long memories. We don’t forget companies that try to make Indians leave their identity at the door, then cry "we are Bharat" when their sales tank. Your mama won’t forget this. Your customers won’t forget this. And next time you fuck around with Indian culture, we’ll make sure the whole country reminds you. Go fuck yourselves.

@codingtargeted @Lenskart_com Two wrongs don't make a right. Such virile language does not look good on us, Indians and it does not reflect our culture and ethos that you are trying to protect. Just stay away from their shops and punish them... that should be the only response that is apt and understood well

@Steezehuman What if I told you that you weren't here by choice, and you won't leave by choice either? Most of us aren't. But the crazy part is that we're all trying like hell to create some choice in between, that's where the meaning usually shows up.

@SonyTV Content and Quality Concerns: Viewers have expressed dissatisfaction with new programming, describing it as unoriginal or of poor quality, which has led to a decline in viewership for the channel. Specific complaints include: Crime Patrol: Criticized for shifting from its previously acclaimed, serious investigative style to sensationalist content described by some viewers as "semi-porn" with random acting. Reality Show Integrity: There are allegations from viewers that shows like Indian Idol and Kaun Banega Crorepati are scripted and that deserving contestants are not always recognized, leading to discontent with the winners. Show Subject Matter: Katha Ankahee faced criticism for its storyline regarding the justification of an extramarital affair. Abrupt Cancellations: Sony has been criticized for abruptly cancelling shows, such as Beyhadh 2, often without proper closure for the viewers. Declining Viewership and TRPs: Critics argue the channel has failed to replace its iconic shows with hit content, resulting in low ratings (0.2–0.3 range) for many of its new fictional shows. Shark Tank India Language Debate: Some viewers expressed dissatisfaction with the use of English in business pitches during Shark Tank India, leading to debates on the channel providing Hindi subtitles rather than promoting Hindi-only content, which some felt was "unnecessary controversy". Mismanagement of Shows: Critics mention that Sony mismanages its fiction department and rarely promotes new shows effectively, leaving the burden on production houses, which has contributed to the low TRP. Recent Developments (2026): Feature Deprecation: Starting in late May 2026, Sony is reducing TV guide and program info features for antenna/set-top box users on 2023-2025 Bravia TVs. Strategic Reorganization: Sony Pictures is undergoing a restructuring with layoffs targeting junior and middle management, aiming to focus on growth areas like Anime and gaming, while shifting its TV manufacturing business towards a partnership with TCL
