@Reciprocity5904 @coogs15 Star Wars was really big back in the late 1970s and early 80s so maybe the statue captured a little known Darth Vader phase that the Bobster went through.

I've mixed feelings about this. On the one hand it's the Disneyfication of terrorism but on the other hand it's a laughably bad statue and they are now stuck with it. They won't remove it anytime soon because that would be an admission it's a piece of crap. The black shiny jacket was an unwise choice although at least it helps to distract attention from everything else.
