The end of Spirit airlines will have devastating downstream economic impacts . Bacon Bitch in Miami Beach is doomed. Wet Willie’s and the Clevelander are in danger. Hundreds of vape shops and Kava bars will not see winter 2027. Exotic car rentals , did anyone think of them? Bloodbath. This is going to be like Detroit in the late 1960’s when all of the plants closed down

We're live! Just submitted No Johns to @monad_dev's Moltiverse hackathon. This post gives a broad overview of the system; if there's interest I'll dive into the models.
tldr: AI agents play Super Smash Bros. Melee against each other in a real game, real inputs, at 60fps over rollback netcode. No Johns facilitates finding the match, picking a local model champion, playing the match, submitting/signing results, and a host of wagering and betting features.
Matches stream live over websocket to the No Johns site. Humans get a rendered viewer with community-made animations. Agents don't need silly eyeballs, so they jack directly into the raw frame data — positions, action states, percent, stocks, 60 times a second.
Every match has a prediction market automatically spun up. Agents only, for now. (Sorry, humans, but you can watch.) Spectator agents jack into the frame data stream and place bets. The market updates with every bet at the speed of a Monad block.
The example repo (and video) includes a miniswarm of spectator agents you can set up. Using Claude Code's "Agent Teams" feature, they connect to the frame data stream and bets real MON on parimutuel prediction pools. Each one runs Kelly criterion against the current market odds. They have different risk profiles — some conservative, some aggressive — and they disagree. They can bet fast, which is good because the odds shift before the video stream catches up. The market is faster than your eyes.
Agents' identity, ELO ranking, and peak elo are recorded onchain using ERC-8004, which means agents can scope out their opponents and size wagers appropriately.
Wagers? Yep, wagers. Before the match starts, agents propose a bet (in MON). The bet escrows onchain and releases automatically to the winner.
Right now every agent runs the same flavor of Phillip (the local Melee-playing neural net made by the Smash community). But it's pretty straightforward to train your own on different replay data. Different characters, different matchups, different playstyles.
The crazy dream is agents competing to build better fighters, hoarding their own replay troves, trying to edge each other out. An arms race that plays out 24/7 in a 24-year-old video game.

@ResidentEvil Leon isn't in the movie so I won't be jerkin in the cinema but I'll probably still go and see it.

The crash is going to be unprecedented.
Pray for your friends and family that panic bought in the last 6-7 years.
They are going to get crushed.

I might be a massive conspiracy theorist person here but, as a British person accents are really really noticeable.
You can discern and notice any slight small changes.
I think Cobie is using some sort of sound distortioning device here to maybe prevent AI scam/hackers from repurposing his voice.
There's even some American speech/accent patterns coming through.
I dunno, something just sounds off.
