@The_Absentee Lol... POV: you ask AI for a logo and end up with something that looks like a crypto scam and a dentist had a baby.

@TrevorLongino Momentum’s great. But without client reporting, you’re guessing your speed. 46% of agency leaders say transparency drives retention — not results. Every clean report re-sells your agency. Every silent week kills it.

@JacksonPinkoski Exactly. And the missing link most brands ignore? Client reporting. If you don’t track how ads + email actually drive revenue together, you’re flying blind. Integrated data ≠ vanity metrics. It’s proof of performance, and leverage for scale.

Your email and ad accounts are in couples therapy. I see at least 90% of brands treat email and paid ads like divorced parents. Here’s why this lazy approach is costing you at least 40%+ in performance: #1 Paid Ads Fuel Email Growth - Add email capture forms to every conversion ad - Set exit-intent popups on all paid traffic landing pages - Create lead magnets specifically targeting your ad audiences - Track email signups alongside purchases in ad reporting #2 Email Data Improves Targeting - Upload your customer segments to Meta monthly - Build lookalikes from your highest-value email subscribers - Feed purchase events directly into your Meta pixel - Segment audiences by 30/60/90 day purchase behavior #3 Email Reduces Ad Pressure - Build automated sequences that convert cold email subscribers - Use email revenue to fund aggressive ad testing - Create backup income streams independent of ad performance - Test risky ad strategies with an email safety net #4 Lead-Gen Ads Build Lists Cheap - Run $2–3 lead gen campaigns before every launch - Collect emails with BFCM pre-sale hype campaigns - Build engagement audiences through video view campaigns - Retarget email lists with specific product sequences Stop siloing channels when integration drives exponentially better results.

@THristov_ Absolutely spot on. Scraped lists might look like shortcuts, but they’re silent revenue killers. Deliverability, trust, compliance, once you burn those, recovery costs far more than the leads were ever worth.

Friendly reminder to all brands using email scraping tools to make an extra dollar: This is ruining your deliverability reputation, probably costing you at least 20% of your email results, and you're putting people off by messaging them without consent. It takes 1-3 months to fix, and you don't want to do that in Q4 if you want strong results. Also, it's illegal in the EU. 4 reasons to avoid doing that and stick with the plan. 1. No legal basis: Regulators are cracking down on data processing without proper justification. 2. Weak security: Major fines are being issued for inadequate technical measures. 3. Risky Automation & AI: Using automated decision-making without human oversight is drawing penalties. Regulators have now made AI compliance a key focus. 4. Data Retention: Companies are being fined for not having clear data deletion policies and schedules. Here's a list of the latest penalties charged in September 2025 1. A Polish bank was fined over €4.3M for unlawfully scanning customer IDs. 2. An Estonian company got a €3M penalty after a data breach impacted 750,000 people. Consider this your good fortune approaching before it's too late. #GDPR #DataProtection #Privacy #Compliance #Fines #DataPrivacy

@julesfounder Adding a bit more context here. I’ve been talking with agency founders lately to understand what’s actually blocking growth and causing headaches day-to-day. @julesfounder, if you’re open, shoot me a DM when you get a sec. Would love to hear what’s been toughest for you lately.

@julesfounder Completely agree. Clarity isn’t dumbing down, it’s respecting the reader’s time. The best writing disappears and lets the idea shine through. Also, @julesfounder shoot me a DM when you can. Got something interesting I’d love to discuss with you.

@THristov_ @AlexHormozi Brilliant move. Gamifying spend like that turns customers into competitors. It’s not just a promo, it’s behavioral design. Love the psychology behind it. Trayan, shoot me a quick DM when you can. I’ve got something interesting I’d like to run by you.

I'll give you a Black Friday tip that nobody's doing because I'm feeling generous today. Everyone's wondering, "How do I apply @AlexHormozi 's Money Models to my business"? For 3 of our brands, we're doing "the top 3 customers who spend the most money in the Black Friday period will get this special gift". 1. One is a dentist who runs a practice + and an ecom doing $2m/mo. People will get a free dental check. 2. The second and third are shoe brands. One is functional, the other is fashion - so we're giving 3 free pairs giveaway (one for each) for the top spenders. If you can afford it, what would this do to your AOV & margins? Extra tip - we're also doing a special post-purchase order bump with "get more of what you bought, only for X price". Extra tip 2 - Run this on your socials too, it can't hurt. For the 15 people who will see this post, keep this a secret before everyone steals your strategy.

@growthzacks Exactly. If you’re going to be called out for “lost revenue”, make them put skin in the game. Testing incrementality shouldn’t be charity, it should be a partnership.

You know it's the start of a new quarter when the Google reps start harassing you about the $1m in lost revenue from not scaling branded search budgets 🤮 Now I just reply and ask them if Google would be interested in sponsoring (paying for) an independent incrementality test. Pretty fair request IMO - Applovin has offered to do this, why can't Google?

@johnhickey1970 @SamMendelsohnW6 Love this. There’s no one “right” path, only the path you execute and own. Agencies, FTEs, or DIY: what matters is accountability and results. And yes, I’m curious, drop the list of agencies you’ve worked with!

I see a lot of talk about people not using agencies/or using only agencies(me) Definitely a valid move to do everything yourself, or hire FTE…hire all agencies/mix of both. I was talking to a guy a couple of years ago who was in the @SamMendelsohnW6 group(a good group to belong) He told me that he grew his biz to $20 or $ 30 million a year in 10 years (I think it's been a while), and he did it all with FTE. Seemed very happy with the results. He was emphatic about not using agencies and how ineffective he found them. There were a couple of replies back and forth, totally friendly. i told him that I built our business almost solely on agencies. in my opinion, my own personal marketing skills weren’t any good. (They did improve over time, of course, mostly because I was closely monitoring the agencies at every step and taking detailed notes.) We’re just over five years old and we are hitting 50m a year soon. Like him, I am pleased with our results. million ways to skin a cat. either way be happy with the results bc you are the one that is responsible/made those calls. thats the beauty of owning a biz. who wants a list of the agencies i’ve used over the years? ask and you shall get it.

Quick retention wins we’re seeing work: • Segment welcome flows by acquisition source • Test content-only emails between promos • Add social proof to order confirmations • Create buyer-specific landing pages Your best customers are already in your file. Treat them that way.
