@carlso17546 @joeroganhq Thanks for the note. the head shaking issue for my wife and I is - it seems like if you line up ten experts on the topic, five believe one way and five believe the other. So we are often left wondering who in heck is right and which choice do we make. Maddening.

Well that isnt the right question is it? The question is do you believe cholesterol is the real cause of heart attacks, strokes and blockages. Because there are many doctors who do not believe ldl is the problem. Dr. Philip ovadia, a cardiac surgeon says half of the patients he does surgery on do not have elevated cholesterol. There is along list of doctors who do not believe statins are the answer and metabolic health is more important. Also the triglyceride to hdl ratio is a better indicator of heart health than ldl.

Dr. Aseem Malhotra: "If you take a statin for 5 years after a heart attack... in that 5 year period, how much would you think or hope it would add to your life expectancy?" Joe Rogan: "25%? 30%?" Malhotra: "Just over 4 days."

Thanks for the note. You see why it so hard for us common folk to make healthy decisions. Every time I get something from my doctor or tests related to cholesterol higher numbers it indicates that is bad, and ultimately dangerous. My doc is a good person who wants good for me.

@danboever @joeroganhq Dan, cholesterol numbers are not a disease. Doctors never tell you that people with higher cholesterol live longer than those with low levels. The number to focus on is the triglycerides to HDL ratio. I am a pharmacist and I would never take a statin.

Marco Penge is ranked 30th in the world, yet he says a couple courses in Palm Beach turned him away when he tried to become a member recently! "I'm actually at Old Palm. they've been really -- they're like a real family-orientated golf club and super chilled. I did try and join a couple of others, but kind of got turned away a little bit. Yeah, I was kind of a little too casual, I think. But myself and Old Palm is a good match and facilities are great there. "So yeah, it's nice to be at a golf club that wants to have me there, so yeah, it's cool."

Thank you to all of those that have sent me texts that you are praying for Minnesota and specifically Minneapolis. We are grateful for all of the prayers and are asking for the chaos to end and order to be restored. We’re ministering and loving in all directions.

People have been asking over and over again our thoughts and position on all that is happening in MN with immigration. Here’s just one of our thoughts. I said it Sunday and I’ll say it again. “We Love in All Directions” I think Jesus loved in all directions. He loved and healed Israelites, (His people.) He loved and ministered to Samaritans, (His People’s enemies) He loved the Roman oppressors when he healed a centurion’s daughter. He loved the poor, he loved the rich, he loved the untouchables and the outcasts. Jesus loved in all directions. We’re just trying to Love like He did.

A man walked up to me before a golf show and asked if I could do anything with his "buddy traveling trophy". Confused, I told him all I could think was I could hit a ball at it, but it would likely dent if I actually hit it. How perfect was this hit? 👏
