Recommending Fireside: Fireside is a great game to wind down and relax in the evening. No big stories or epic fights, just the soothing atmosphere of the campfire and lite mechanics to keep you engaged!

@Stutsies I did realize the impact of what you wrote and it certainly did not make for a merry Christmas. Agree with you that it's going to happen one day, but portraying the "ban" as a fact wasn't nice and did create a lot of stress ...

Not many developers realise how big of a deal this is. The majority of games normally make 20-30% of their revenue from China alone. This is essentially cutting down the income of studios by a third and will hurt the smaller indies first.

@MariusMpunkt @MimimiProd Sicher, dass es ein sehr anspruchsvoller Job ist (wie ausgeschrieben) und es schwierigere und leichtere Phasen gibt. Ansonsten möchten wir die Person, wie alle anderen Stellen auch, gern für 10+ Jahren bei uns behalten :) Wir geben uns also Mühe, achtsam zu sein.

@MariusMpunkt @MimimiProd Das sehe ich ganz anders. Entscheidend ist der Umgang damit: Wir haben einige Stellen die sehr viele unterschiedliche Aufgaben und Verantwortungen tragen. Trotzdem crunchen wir dort nicht. Wir reviewen wöchentlich und priorisieren -- es ist somit klar, was klappt und was nicht.

@MimimiProd Ähm.. 29 "Grundaufgaben" + optional Sicherheitsbeauftragter und Feel Good Manager ist n krasser overload für 1 Stelle! Das würde ja locker für 3-4 Stellen reichen. Vor allem Personal, Buchhaltung und Ass. D. Gf sollten bei ü30 Mitarbeitern Solostellen sein.

Die größeren Teams haben die besseren Süßkartoffeln. Oder so ähnlich. @MimimiProd jedenfalls verstärkt sich weiter mit Blick auf das neue Projekt und stellt gleich vier neue KollegInnen vor. beta.gamesmarkt.de/details/466178
