What are folks using for parts, service records, equipment service job orders etc etc for their on farm service shop work? Currently using Trello but wanting something a little more integrated/detailed and mobile app based. @FarmerTSchill @schillfarmer12

I’ve used a 185 cfm compressor before to blow off a combine…it’s great. Today I have a 375…that is life changing. I think I am blowing off dust that was in this thing from the factory.

I know the "system" so I try to make this easy for the provider. However I also know exactly what is possible and the high expectations that come with it.

Customer calls: “There is something major wrong with this f-ing planter you sold me. I just planted 120 aces of corn seed in 30.” Me: “Let’s RDA and let me look at Seedstar and your rates” *Rate is set to 134k seeds per acre* Me: I don’t think the planter is the problem…

@RLuymes We do just what you are suggesting with a Degelman. One pass in the spring works for us. It and a shank style strip till unit are our only tillage tools.

Does anyone in #ontag have any thing good or bad to say about about any high speed discs? Planning on lightly tilling (1-2”deep) corn stalks before spring. Preferably 1 pass in the spring. #lemken #vaderstad #penta #horsch #norwood #toomanyoptions

@SavvyFarmgirl This is a Vivo stand up desk frame and an Ikea island countertop. Wasn't too bad $$ to put together. It also has never looked this clean again.

@DarrylBurnett We have motion sensors on each of the high bay LEDs in our facility. Really works well, you never walk into a dark shop and the lights turn off if no one is in that zone.

#Agtwitter Were ready to put lights in the farm shop. Seriously asking for suggestions on do’s and dont’s, what you’d change etc. want to keep ceiling as neat as possible for conduit. We can easily put conduit in attic as insulation isn’t blown in yet Any sugg’s appreciated

The fast path to low adoption of technology is predatory input subscription models. The "microbatcher" business in dairy ( think on farm mineral manufacturing) has basically failed to grow because everyone wrapped the machine in an input subscription...

Upgraded my tool chest organization. Just waiting on a couple sockets and some more holders. Bought Mantis ToolGrid components. Not stupid expensive, but infinitely customizable. Much better than the drawer liner and socket holders I had.
