@CllrBarryLewis We too have empty boxes this year.

Very sadly the case - not too many years ago we saw at least two nesting pairs of swallows that would annually nest in our buildings. We have special nesting boxes for them, as well as ideally suited stables too. This year, for the first time we can remember (decades), we have none. theguardian.com/environment/ar…
