@ValisJason @Sr_Lazarus If East Bay voters want clogged traffic on freeways and roads, they should vote against this. If they want free-flowing traffic, they should support this measure to give people an alternative to the roads.

Some of these Democrats in the California governor’s race need to drop out. This is getting absurd. We cannot have a Republican leading the great state of California.

My 8-point article re: the Save America Act, which wld nationalize voter purges via a centralized system overhauled by DOGE in collaboration w/ SSA whose databases have allegedly been compromised by DOGE. The bill also makes it hard to prove ur a citizen if the system flags u. 1/

Please help me get this over 5K re-posts. Everyone deserves to know what’s really in the Trump- backed so-called “Save America Act”, and the GOP and media aren’t telling them. Thank you.
JennyCohn ✍🏻 📢@jennycohn1

I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this helps raise awareness. 1/

@jennycohn1 I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about how the save act is really move to federalize elections. They’ll make certain types of voting illegal such as those without ID then they’ll be selective enforcement only in cities in swing states.

As far as I can tell, this is the only article (other than mine) that draws a potential connection between DOGE’s alleged mishandling of SSA data & the Save America Act’s mandate that all states use a DOGE-created voter purge system that relies on SSA data.
JennyCohn ✍🏻 📢@jennycohn1

The Save America Act “requires all states to turn over all voter rolls…to the [DHS]” & to “use a voter purge system created by DOGE, relying on [SSA] data that has been shown to be unreliable...” This is the same DOGE that allegedly “made off with … [SSA] information…” By @NormOrnstein 1/

Barack Obama reached a deal that prevented Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. Trump ripped up that deal. Now we are at war with Iran to prevent it from getting a nuclear weapon.

This interview getting spiked for broadcast is like the single best thing that could happen to Talarico as early voting starts. From last year’s quorum break until now, the attention economy dynamics have been mostly cutting Talarico’s way.
James Talarico@jamestalarico

This is the interview Donald Trump didn’t want you to see. His FCC refused to air my interview with Stephen Colbert. Trump is worried we’re about to flip Texas.

I asked @MarketUrbanism Stephen Smith (undisputed king of elevator reform effort) what is the most high impact action the fed govt can take to bring down elevator costs (making the small apartment buildings easier to build). This is the he said: “The most important role for the federal government in bringing down elevator costs is in clarifying that the Fair Housing Amendments Act (FHAA) does not preclude state/local building codes from allowing smaller (but still wheelchair-accessible) elevators in small buildings that are at risk of not being built with any at all.”

Goal of the Jones Act: national security resilience, economic self-sufficiency, maritime labor force. Reality of the Jones Act: Tiny non-defense shipbuilding industry and labor force that is irrelevant to wartime logistics. Higher prices on intermediate and consumer goods.

Gasoline is shipped from Houston to the Bahamas and then from Bahamas to California. This added step adds costs but avoids the Jones Acr requirement of using a ridiculously expensive American-built and flagged ship. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

At @americanhousing, we are *fundamentally* a Real Estate Development company Which means we looking to buy well located land (or JV) where it makes sense to build *infill* attached, non-combustible rowhomes We want to build where young people ALREADY want to live, so they can move out of their apartment, have a kid a stay in the City. Or where a couple can buy a Starter Home in a single family market where they can’t afford the huge house, but want something nice. Our business is buy land, build parts (in a factory), put those parts together on the land and then sell (or rent) the homes In terms of how that process will work … people won’t buy our homes as kits or customize them like a Tesla. They’ll simply a house on Zillow and go “That looks pretty. And it’s down the street from where we live. I think we could afford it. Let’s go look at it.” They’ll take a tour, say “Wow, this IS really nice, and we could see ourselves raising (or starting) our family here.” And then buy it.

Reducing how much driving workers are forced to do will lower emissions, improve air quality + reduce congestion This also leads to better outcomes for working families - economic (driving's expensive) - safety (cars are dangerous) - health (less obesity) - time (less commuting)

@CAForever's new city + shipyard projects will support 530k+ good-paying jobs, all right next to 170k+ new homes That's thousands more people who will have the choice to actually live in the same place they work – and to walk, bike or transit instead of commuting 1 hr+ by car

Our Supreme Court reform bill would limit justices to 18-year active terms. It follows the Constitution. Judges keep lifetime service and pay. Congress sets the court structure. Here’s an explanation.

Selling stolen oil and putting billions of dollars in a bank in Qatar to be spent without Congressional approval is not Constitutional. Only Congress can appropriate money. The President can’t legally create a second Treasury overseas for his own piggy bank. Wake up Congress.
