For those of you who think this won't affect your small towns, you need to buckle up. I was in Parry Sound yesterday (I've had a cottage near there for 12 years). I went to Home Depot and Harvey's and it was like someone had thrown a switch from last year to this year. Almost all of the employees in both places are now Indian. It wasn't just a couple, it was most. I was quite startled at the difference. What affect is this having on the employment of long time Parry Sound residents? And before anyone wants to call be a racist, I'm the step-father of 2 wonderful half-Indian young adults. I also work for a very bright and kind Indian couple (who are opposed to the flood of low wage Indian immigrants themselves).

I got into a spat at Costco today over “Elbows Up”. Apparently Liberals feel the need to tell you to buy Canadian Only in groceries stores now. She picked to battle with the wrong person. I am so sick of the government telling me how to live my life. And now we’ve came to the point where complete strangers in a grocery store feel it’s their obligation now too! MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS‼️

@mario4thenorth Why would you go to Canada when they send Canadian tax dollars to Ukraine while buying Russian oil at the same time. If you don't understand money laundering that's money laundering.

@KirkLubimov All part of the plan. Canada is cooked. Canada won’t survive another 4 years of this. Are we all ready to live among Indians and Muslims?

🚨Mark Carney is planning to continue Justin Trudeau government's revised permanent residency numbers that adds just under 1% of Canada's population per year and will be roughly; 2025 - 395k 2026 - 380k 2027 - 365k And 1% beyond. That means that under Mark Carney, Canada's will see the highest growth in new citizens outside the 4 years that led to this last election in decades.

I miss pre 2015. The way Canada felt, looked, how it moved. Canada felt Canadian. Canada, more and more feels like I’m in the Middle East. Disclaimer: this will set some of you off. But if you haven’t lived my experiences and seen the slow fall of a country from within. I don’t want to hear it. The truth is being honest about Canada is hard frustrating and infuriating. We are in this limbo, fuck around period of the crash. We can pull out of this but we need a serious change if we want to correct course. Long and short, I miss my country and I don’t care how people feel about me saying it openly this way.

I honestly suspect that nearly 1/2 the tweets relating to the election are bots. So many posters, replies, retweets are from accounts opened over the last 6 months. Does anyone run analysis?

An acquaintance said to me, "I'm voting @PierrePoilievre because @JustinTrudeau and the @liberal_party have destroyed Canada!" I asked, "What have they destroyed?" They said, angrily, "Don't get me started!" And, that was the end of the exchange.

@MurrayDavidJ It’s a good thing we don’t use credit cards at 20% interest to fund infrastructure development. Thanks for the insights Dave.

I asked Amex if they could split my statement into operating and capital expenses. Apparently no matter how you split it, if you don't pay it off entirely, the interest rate applies to both.

@ronmortgageguy @adamchamb I’m less skeptical than you re: Carney’s motivations and platform, and I’m curious to see PP platform, but disappointed to be still waiting. If you were in charge, what would be your primary policy and tax/funding changes?

Mark Carney led a disastrous debate in English and French, yet his PolyMarket odds of winning increased. So PolyMarket is either reflecting voter sentiment, and CBC/CTV News viewers believed the post-debate, Pro-Carney commentary... Or PolyMarket is compromised.

@ronmortgageguy I think responding in kind, rather than bowing our head and saying ‘yes Mr. Trump’ was warranted. Were you upset at the time when Carney responded, or is this a change of heart now that Trump is playing favourites with sycophants? How long would you have waited to react?

Somehow The Elbows Up Crap From Carney Ended Up Sticking Canada Right In The Rear End? As of right now, China & Canada are the only countries on Earth affected by US Tarifs Is Carney REALLY the Master Negotiator? I am interested to hear what people think Replies are open
