I just want y'all to know. This is my person. He is amazing, stupid smart, completely misunderstood ...and to me....sexy in every way. Nothing in life has been easy for either of us. Then we came together. Life happened ....more harshly. It's never easy...but we don't give up on each other...even when everything feels hopeless. To me. That's what commitment is. That's what love is. I always want to come home to him. I always want to be around him. He's literally the funniest person I've ever met...even when he's not feeling or doing great. Words will never be enough. He doesn't like pictures....but this was perfect to me.

Back in the summer of 2015, during the air campaign against ISIS, I visited a group of U.S. Air Force pararescuemen and combat rescue officers at their base in northern Iraq. They were on call 24/7, ready within 15 minutes to rescue downed U.S. or coalition pilots in northern Iraq and Syria. These guys were the best of the best. Brave beyond measure. To cut down on rescue times they often pre-positioned their helos at landing sites deep within ISIS territory. “We take fire every time we go out,” one combat rescue officer told me. He added: “We are a reactive force but there are things we can do to lean forward to be able to be more effective. We have to get close if you want us to have a chance.” These guys weren't used to having a journalist around. But they let me visit with one caveat. Now that they had a real, live (albeit former) U.S. Air Force pilot on hand, they decided to use me for some hands-on training. They deposited me, signaling device in hand, at the end of an old runway and swept in with their helicopter to simulate a rescue. Then they did it again and again. I got a few rides up the hoist that day. Loved every minute of it. When I was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as an Air Force pilot, I just took it for granted that there was a group of elite badasses somewhere out there ready to come rescue me if I went down in enemy territory. I'm grateful I got to see these guys in action from ground level, for I realized how fortunate I truly was. Events over the past day in Iran have rekindled those memories from a decade ago in Iraq, and reminded me of the nonrepayable debt that every American combat pilot has for those brave operators who are always ready to risk their lives so that we may live. Then blame it on the person who is probably the most BASED person you're gonna meet in your life. Spare me how "military husbands" are dogs. Naw y'all just silly high school b**ches, who have no idea what it takes to stand behind or support a real man, and you talk smack online. Go talk to your "bully" pages and pu$$y whipped C's..or the make friends you made while f**king your exes...and try again. Miss me with that. @donewthpplsbs Obama relieved 197 generals that either slow rolled or obfuscated his directives, more than all presidents before him combined. This is very mild and very normal. That wasn't.

I'm not sure who needs to hear this outside of the mainstream media, but the Pentagon does not owe you or the general populous an up to the minute BUB on active combat operations. If you know it, then our enemies know it. This should be common sense.

You read every day about a wife of a soldier...who cheated. Who stole money. All the drama. The truth of the matter is it really takes a special someone to be the wife of a soldier. The reality is. At a normal corporation. They tell you to leave your personal life at the door when you come to work. They go home and vent to their spouse and it's seen as normal marital behavior. When a soldier comes home, they're still fighting battles, they themselves haven't figured out. If anyone has ever been in a serious car crash, a bar where a big fight broke out, or even a plane deboarding for an "emergency"....you still have no level of comprehension of the amount of training and preparedness these people train for. Real soldiers. Sacrifice their mind and body. They're trained to ignore their biological imperatives. They are trained to give more than they have. They are trained to push through things that no "reasonable human being" should have to endure. Some of them take the oath for their own reasons. Finances, structure, education opportunities. Than there are those few. Those few who left an existence that would provide nothing but suffering. They saw that suffering and vowed that they could do better. They could be better. They were future faked. The military industrial complex is nother more than a narcissist with an acronym and an unwavering ability to ruin a man (or woman) with false promises, hope for a better future, and a GLORIOUS amounts of guarantees they sorely misrepresented. In reality. A good wife of a soldier....sits through moments where her soldier, feels more useful in death. Sits as they know the protocols and procedures of the government....and watches them cry and the man wonders the real truth of the matter. A wife of a soldier tries to console the inconsolable. Because what the military industrial complex has done to an individual is beyond repair. They know it. You know it. Hope is a powerful thing. It can inspire. It can also destroy. Be careful what you believe and who you listen to. Because the REAL wives of the military have a new found fury. We're done with our government. We're done with the lies. The Constitution is to protect the government from the people. Why is that? What honor does the US have to their Veterans? My answer is none.

Then. Why. Are. We. Firing. Generals. 👏 I'm getting really concerned.
