@frozenaesthetic My version of England isn’t just London—it’s a mix of Alfred, Richard, Moon Dragon, and a questionable amount of Clarkson’s Farm. If that’s even remotely accurate… you lot might actually be dangerously charming

Hear me out: Kwokini — sounds like a sleek Italian supercar, a dangerously expensive martini, or the world’s most overconfident Web3 bikini model Phil & Dom Kwok buy Gemini and turn it into an AI that doesn’t just answer questions… …it airdrops you a token while doing it. Finally, chat with yield.

6 months ago, i sounded the alarm on @gemini, saying the stock would hit single digits. back then, the stock was trading at $25. today, $GEMI is down over 80% and trading at under $5. now, i'm predicting it goes bankrupt before year end. TLDR class action lawsuits, several c-suite departures, slowing revenue growth and accelerating losses create an inescapable doom loop for a company already in strategic turmoil. time for a thread 🧵👇 (as always, nfa. dyor.)

.@gemini must be one of the worst run companies in history. after 10+ years, the company is still losing hundreds of millions of dollars. if a crypto company can’t make money in a bull market, why would you invest in it? $GEMI heading to single-digits soon imo. nfa. dyor.

Next level security for XRP for the next level of adoption! 👀 In addition to bug bounties, codebase scans, attackathons and high barrier for new XRP amendments. A new AI Red Team is being created to >continuously test edge cases >simulate attack vectors > run threat models and collaborate with XRPL Commons and XRPL Foundation Its a holistic approach to actually make protocol changes safer!

We’re taking a more proactive, AI-driven approach to strengthening XRPL security. That includes AI-assisted testing across the development lifecycle, a dedicated red team, and higher standards for how changes are evaluated before they go live. As XRPL scales to support global payments, tokenized assets, and institutional use cases, our goal is to continuously strengthen its reliability. The reality is the work of building secure, reliable financial infrastructure is never done. More in the post ↓

My take on the current discourse about the Christian man with the formerly “promiscuous” wife is that many of the comments towards the man and his wife have been uncharitable, cruel, and certainly un-Christian, but also that Christians these days often tend to be far too eager to tell the entire world about their past sins, which in most cases shows a lack of discretion and a certain lack of the sort of shame one should feel even for repented sins. Also, as a parent, I strongly believe that you generally should avoid telling your kids about your own wayward youth, because the kids will take such stories as an indication that they too can go off and have fun sinning and things will turn out okay, just as they did for you. Also you undermine your own moral authority when you instruct your children not to do the very things you have admitted to having done yourself. Finally, the man’s line about how his wife “is more pure than most virgins” is prideful and shows a kind of competitiveness and vanity that should simply not ever appear in any Prodigal Son style testimony. Imagine if the Prodigal Son had returned and announced himself not only repentant but “more pure” than the brother who stayed? It would kind of destroy the point of the story. So in summary I basically disagree with everyone on this.

@dom_kwok @Gemini Do you think a bank (or something similar) might be interested in buying it, especially since it would be at a discount?

Carbon steel heats really fast, builds a natural nonstick, and needs regular care. Stainless steel is much lower maintenance, sticks (on purpose), and is best for searing and pan sauces. Carbon steel gets better with age. Carbon steel is mostly iron and stainless steel is mixed metals which is why it doesn't hold heat as well.
Sarcasm as a Service@SaaS_Veritas

@ChefGruel What's the difference between a carbon steel pan and a stainless steel pan?

everyone’s talking about the clarity act. but barely anyone’s heard about the parity act. yet the parity act is what finally lets people use crypto in their daily lives. here’s what you need to know about the most important crypto act nobody’s heard of: 1/ no capital gains tax on daily transactions the act proposes a $200 tax exemption for personal crypto transactions. this means you don’t pay capital gains tax every time you buy something using crypto (ie a cup of coffee!) 2/ deferred taxes on staking income currently, when you stake your crypto, your staking income is taxed upon receipt. the parity act allows taxpayers to defer their taxes on staking rewards for up to 5 years. this means you won’t pay taxes on income you haven’t yet received (or on assets that have depreciated in value). 3/ no taxes on crypto lending the act creates parity between securities lending and crypto lending. so when you use your crypto as collateral, it no longer counts as a sale - preventing unnecessary tax bills.
