Just heard of a farmer making several trips to a local country servo and getting 4000lts at a time with the service truck. I think that’s pretty selfish !!

It’s been nearly 2 weeks since the Iran conflict and still no info from the major fert Companies re stock on hand , Fert avalibility , ships on water, any production issues, let alone pricing. Absolutely nothing! It’s almost if they are wanting to create fear and panic.🤷🏻‍♂️

@HoolyMcg @StnJensen Mate there is no fuel coming, Alby and I have fought this issue for 10 years about our 90 day supply commitment. We have 3.4 days of supply , they count your normal on hand supplies and shipping orders and the fuel sitting ing everyone’s tanks as part of stock pile.

No fuel deliveries available out here at all next week. Suppliers saying they will get a little, they don’t know when, but being severely rationed. Rough road ahead.

It appears the SA grains group GPSA has withdrawn from the national grains group GPA. Seems like an opportune time to review the PIFS funding model to directly fund the work the national grains group undertakes without GPSA being the funding gatekeeper.

Happy days extra 20 bucks a tn for growers. Last time I looked 30 million short fall in grdc levy alone.

@HoolyMcg #2. I suggested that to address the inter generational funding of expansion they should re consider tolls and debentures. In the last 4 years cbh has spent close to 2 billion dollars and only used 150 million of borrowing to top it up. That’s 1.85 billion from growers pockets.

@HoolyMcg Mate just to make you feel better, my question during the agm about the cost per tn to growers to fund the 600 mil capex spend this coming year .(about $28 per tn) our chairman told me that it was all good it was a $28 per tn tax deduction.

I recently did the @theGRDC grower survey. Did anyone else have the sense that it was designed to give the answers they wanted and, more importantly, to avoid the answers that they did not want!!
