Clyde was torn, being from Michigan but also a husky. He decided to cheer for UMich then pulled out 600 toys, threw pillows around, tooted on mom 4xs then gave this look as the trophy was lifted. A time was had.

When I ask students what they did over Spring Break (or any break) the answer is almost always the same: hours and hours on their phones.
So on the first day back, we reset.
I run a “digital detox.”
The entire period is screen-free.
Students read, write, reflect, and discuss—on paper, with each other.
No devices.
Just thinking, writing, and real conversation.

It was inspiring to watch the Artemis II launch yesterday — @NASA’s first crewed mission around the moon since 1972. Our space program has always captured an essential part of what it means to reach beyond what we thought was possible, and I hope the four brave astronauts on this mission will inspire a new generation to follow in their footsteps.
