The many times I’ve had to call police I am gaslit by the dispatcher and nothing happens if the police even show up. Criminals know this and are emboldened. If you’re a homeless drug addict in SLC, laws don’t apply to you.

It is the sugary-sweet tooth-rotting candy that prevents humanity from having a proper feast like kings among the stars - and now, instead of exploring majesty of the cosmos, humanity is on its way to civilisational diabetes like children without self-control.
You can have hierarchy and order to unlock space exploration or you can have South Africa.
